I feel like it’s important too because it adds a bit of humanity to him for like the Resistance. Having to come to terms with the fact that the person their fighting is the son of your leader must be tough.

I hope it’s expanded on in the next movie because no one in the resistance acts like they know who Kylo really is but Leia has mentioned him in rooms full of resistance fighters twice now. I really want to know how common of knowledge it is.
