The Kentucky Castle (AKA Martin Castle) is located in Versailles, KY. This beautiful estate was built by Rex Martin for his wife, heavily inspired by architecture in Europe. Now, it can be visited by the public. They offer tours of the property, rentals, and bed and breakfast services. Admittedly, it seems very out of place and random as you drive by but it’s so exciting every time. Also, I learned from a tour guide that Johnny Depp had previously lived just beyond the trees barricading the castle property.
