Sorry, I’m an asshole.  I know.  Life has thrown just about every cureball imaginable at me as of late, so I’ve been working through some stuff.  But, I finally got the chance to finish this up, and I feel fantastic.

Alright, so in case anyone was wondering why Keep You Hopes Up High hadn’t been updated in a long while, even though that has kind of become my M.O. as of late, I do have an excuse.  First of all, it was just the end of the school year, meaning I had finals and had to move out of my dorm and all that.  Then, I had to get settled back in at home and get set up with my summer job.  Finally, I took some time to relax and was at a music festival all weekend.

Now that everything has kind of settled down, I’m excited to get back to writing.  That being said, there was a story for Carmilla that I was excited about and working on, but due to some shit going down in that fandom at the moment, that story will probably never be finished, let alone posted.  So, since my excitement for that is now all but zero and I won’t be doing that anymore, I’m all in on KYHUH now!!!  Hopefully I can get it going and finished soon for you all!  And, as always, sorry for the wait.

Hey! Are you going to continue Keep Your Hopes Up High, And Your Head Down Low?

Of course!  I’m not going to stop it there!  The thing is, next week is finals week. So, for all of my classes, the shit has hit the fan and I have had absolutely zero time to write recently!

Basically what I’m saying is I want to write the next chapter, but holy fuck do I not have time right now.  I’ll get to it when I can.

Oh my Gods, I remember why I was putting off writing this now.  This actually hurts.

Oh my gods!  I'm rereading KYHUH to make sure that I'm keeping everything on the right track in the new chapter, and I just got to Skye's conversation with Stark and I legitimately laughed out loud.

Like, first of all, I wrote the damn thing.  And secondly, it wasn't that funny to begin with.  Either way I cackled at it.

I've been busy with the holidays and everything, I just got the chance to look at it these past couple days, and I'm trying to dive back into it.  I'm getting back onto my feet with it.  I want to get it out quickly, but I don't want it to be rushed, so we'll see when it happens.  Sorry for the wait, it has been a beyond wild month or so.
