Linoy Ashram - 2020 European Individual All Around Champion
European Championships 2020
The 2020 European Championships will be held from 26th to 29th November, it was announced today. However, this competition is no longer an Olympic Qualifier. According to European Gymnastics they do not want to pressure the federations to travel to an event to which they otherwise would not travel to if it weren’t an Olympic Qualifier.
This changes everything for federations. All of those countries who don’t have a gymnast qualified to Tokyo registered for Kyiv simply because it was an Olympic Qualifier. It will be interesting to see what they finally decide to do now that it’s no longer such an important event.
