I gotta explain my love for major league. They were the first band that I really felt an actual connection to. Besides being one of my favorite bands, they're all guys I look up to. I remember talking with Brian on Twitter and I had taken a huge interest in the band at that point. I would tweet him and he would usually respond. I asked him about maybe getting some lyrics that he had wrote to one of my favorite songs, to which he said yes. this sparked a wave of people asking for them, which to my surprise he sent out the first copy/ hand written lyrics that he had to fans all over the place. This was amazing to me, when I got the lyrics to take me, there was a letter enclosed in it as well. Brian was thanking me for the interest in the band and it was just extremely sweet. A while after this, the boys were playing a show in Haverhill, MA. it was a small place and they were headlining with some local openers. I got really into the show, I even ended up on stage with a bunch of other people. At the end of the show I was waiting around to see if I could meet the guys. I was hanging around merch( I ended up leaving with 2 tee shirts and a banner) and watching them unload their stuff. I went back to the floor and Brian and Nick were there, Brian immediately remembered me and his face lit up. he have me a huge hug and signed my lyrics that he had sent me. That was a few years ago and I hadn't seen them since. I was unable to make their last two shows in the Boston area that they were opening for. When I was at warped last week, I went directly to the major league tent of course. I brought Kyle some pizza rolls and. As soon as I was walking up to the tent, Brian and Kyle were coming over as well. Brian saw me and gave me the biggest hug and asked me how I had been. He even let me know that they'd be back soon(I can't say when). After warped was settling down I went back to the tent and said bye to Brian and he gave me two more huge hugs and told me he'd see me soon. He even thanked me so much for coming to see them whatnot. Brian is such a great guy, and the other dudes are so chill and sweet. I'm hoping that when they tour my area soon, that I'll actually be able to hang with them all backstage or before the show or something. I'm hoping they're offering VIP as well. I could never explain how much this band has given me in my life. The letter and lyrics are framed and I'm able to look at them everyday and realize that a band went out of their way to give me it, out of the kindness of their heart. it's things like that, that bands treasure. I would sell my soul to just explain to them much they really have had a positive impact on my life and helped me get better than I was. I'm so thankful for Brian, Kyle, Luke, Matt and formally Nick.
