FUCK YOU ! 💚💙
For context: i had a bad hair day so i decided to project it to Kyle who got pissed off by Stan's hair and decided to do it as a holiday special (i got lazy at the end)
close enough, welcome back Romeo and Juliet
hot take i feel like kyle would have the best hair care routine probably due to his mother's influence
cartman? his hair would be pretty shiny but it'd be because of genes
kenny would have long, greasy ass hair because he takes a shower every other week or some bullshit
stan's hair would be DAMAGED to the brim because of the many times he's tried to cut it himself and bleached it
Main 4 chibis (my au)
(might be selling as keychains/ stickers)
Kenny never expected to be so close with Kyle. They hadn’t been especially close as kids. Kyle had always had Stan, and Kenny usually drifted toward Cartman or Butters by default. But as they got older, Kenny realized that Kyle was solid. The kind of guy who stood his ground even if it wasn’t the easy choice. If Kyle believed something, he’d stick to it. He was stubborn, sharp, a little preachy, but a good person all the same.
Kyle’s was the richest and most put-together out of the group of boys, and Kenny tried not to resent him for it. He was glad Kyle didn’t have to grow up in Kenny’s home, with parents who were drunk more often than not, scraping by on whatever work they could find. But it still hit him sometimes, watching Sheila dote on Kyle or Cartman getting spoiled by his mom. Stan was the only one whose family came close to messy in the same way, but even then, they had a nice house and Whole Foods groceries.
Kenny had always known his family was different. The other parents gave him this soft smile that made him feel fragile, like they thought if they raised their voice too high he’d flinch. They made sure he had clean clothes, sent leftovers home, and never said no when the boys asked if Kenny could stay the night.
The Broflovskis were the most generous. By middle school, they’d started looking out for him in earnest. Maybe they worried he’d fall in with the wrong crowd, end up in jail for possession of heroin. Whatever the reason, they made a point to include him. They treated Kenny to lunches out with Kyle and Ike, new clothes for his first job interview, groceries slipped into his arms without him asking. Sheila even stuffed extra food or school supplies into his backpack when he wasn’t looking.
Spending more time with Kyle became inevitable. When Stan was busy with sports or Wendy, Kenny would still be there, hanging out on the couch, doing his homework on the floor, or staying late into the night. If home was unbearable, he could just walk to the Broflovskis’ front door.
The house was clean and warm and safe. But comfort didn’t erase his nerves. Even after years of being welcome there, Kenny kept his shoes by the door, lowered his voice, and stuck to “yes ma’am” and “no sir.” He never wanted to give them a reason to tell him to go back to his “ghetto” house.
“You can chill, y’know,” Kyle said one day, handing him a can of ginger ale as they sat down to play video games.
Kenny blinked. “Where did that come from?”
“I dunno. You’re just… tense here. You don’t cuss like you do with Stan and Cartman, and you only call my parents ‘sir’ and ‘ma’am.’”
“I’m just being polite. Your parents are nice, y’know?”
Once, Stan dropped by without warning and found Kenny asleep on the couch, Kyle passed out on the floor next to him. For some reason, it felt almost like getting caught.
“Oh,” Stan said, blinking at them. “You guys hanging out without me?”
Kenny sat up, rubbing at his face. “You were busy, dude. We didn’t think you’d care.”
“I don’t,” Stan said quickly, though his voice had that edge that meant he kind of did. “Just—didn’t know this was a thing.”
Kenny shrugged at Stan. “It’s not a thing, man. We just hang out.”
“Uh-huh,” Stan said, like he didn’t buy it.
Kyle rolled his eyes. “You’re acting like we’re cheating on you or something.”
Stan muttered, “Whatever, man,” and wandered into the kitchen.
Kenny smirked. “Guess we’re exclusive now.”
“Shut up,” Kyle said, but he was smiling..
