Little sip of something I’m working on
Snake in the Garden
Summary: Everyone thinks of the Junior Deputy as their savior. Others think of him as the Sinner that will bring them the Collapse. But what no one knows is that the Deputy has no intention in arresting Joseph Seed and he doesn’t want to help anyone in the county either. It’s his great opportunity to finally do whatever he wants to do, and just kill whoever he wants to kill without any consequences. Because he’s not a savior and his not just a sinner either. He’s just a regular guy, with psychopathic tendencies.
Pairings: Joseph Seed/Male!Deputy, Joseph Seed/OC, John Seed/Male!Deputy, John Seed/OC
Warnings: mild language, violence, manipulation, smut, mental illness
Notes: In other words: the deputy gives zero fucks about anyone and just wants to smash everybody.

The Sinner + The Father moodboard
“Did you come here to kill me? Just like you killed my family?” The Father asks, his voice is poisoned by anger, something that he rarely showed to the junior deputy before. The man in front of him cocks his eyebrows at that and lets out a low chuckle. “Kill you?” He asks back as he tilts his head, truly amused by Joseph’s words. “No.” He smiles as he answers oh so calmly. “Why would I kill you?” Joseph looks at him confused from behind the podium and his voice echos in the empty church. “Isn’t that what you wanted? Since the night of the Reaping?” The junior deputy raises his eyebrows even higher with a huge grin on his face as he chuckles again and makes himself comfortable in the front row of the benches. “I don’t really blame you for thinking that. I mean, me going after your men... shooting up John’s silos... taking back outposts...” He explains, a bit bored but then smiles as he looks up to Joseph’s eyes with an evil smirk. “...killing your dear siblings.” Joseph flinches at the words, the wound of his losses still fresh. But the deputy goes on with his speech. “Of course you might think that I hate you, that I want you dead.” The Father looks down at the man as he asks. “Don’t you?” Kyle grins at the question as he stands up and makes his way to Joseph, standing just a few inches away from him. “Of course not. What would I do without you?” The preacher gives him a confused look and the man gladly explains. “Without you, there’s no Project. And if there’s no Project... then there’s no war... and if there’s no war... welll.... then how could I do crimes without getting caught?” He grins at the Father and suddenly gives his cheek a pat. “If there is no you... then there is no me, partner.”
