Well, the account posted again today. Reporting it didn’t work. I don’t think I’m dealing with a bot here.
There are 2 new posts and they feel more targeted than the last ones. The first one is just a cryptic reference to my favorite album, which is weird, but relatively harmless. The second post is what’s really bothering me.
It’s a picture of me standing on a cliff in Colorado, taken from far away. I went there a few summers ago with my family. Had fun, good trip. I remember the day the photo was taken, and I remember hiking to that very spot. But I have no recollection of taking that photo. I was alone on the hike that day and I didn’t ask any strangers to take photos for me. I’m also holding my phone in the picture, so it would’ve been impossible for me to set it up on my own.
Now I’m worried I have some kind of stalker. I don’t know if it’s just a rando who tracked me down from colorado or a friend playing an elaborate joke. It could even be one of my followers on here. But whoever took those photos on the cliff did so without me knowing. And they’ve been holding on to them for a while.
Between the off-putting captions and the obscure references, this is beginning to feel a little more calculated. Like kylev is trying to tell me something. I can’t figure out their goal here though. If they are stalking me, then why would they pretend to be me?
My friend tried to send kylev a message on Instagram after the post went up, but she was immediately blocked. I’ve decided to make a dummy account and try to talk them that way, but I’ll have to be careful that they don’t figure me out. (Hopefully I can figure out how Instagram works 🙃).
Once again, I’ll keep ya posted.
