Found randomly and thought, why not? Since I dunno when I’ll even get to play Inquisition now *sobs*
Using all my Inquisitors because I am a sadist.
1. Origin/class/gender/age. Do you have headcanons about their origin that inquisition doesn’t cover? expand it.
Katherine "Kate" Trevelyan- Human Rogue- Female- 27
· She has a twin brother- Lloyd Trevelyan, who was a mage. She consistently visited him in the Circle as the two of them were near inseparable as kids.
· Her first and only relationship (before she got together with a certain merc) ended badly and made her incredibly reluctant to get into another relationship ever again.
· She was pretty much a Daddy's Girl growing up.
· If anything, she strives for equality amongst all races, religions, etc. Needless to say, she probably doesn't garner a lot of favor with some people.
Lloyd Trevelyan- Human Mage- Male- 27
· He has a twin sister- Katherine "Kate" Trevelyan, who is a rogue. He enjoyed the times she visited him in the Circle, treasuring every moment they had together.
· Despite preferring guys to girls, he is a sex-repulsed asexual.
· He never grew too close to anyone in his family, aside from Kate.
· He is an avid supporter of mages, but he lacks the confidence and self-esteem to stand for them.
Kyna Lavellan- Elven Mage- Female- 40
· Her older sister is Llin Lavellan, a Dalish Rogue.
· She was treated pretty horribly by her clan. They considered her more of a burden and a nuisance, rather than someone of respect.
· She holds a close connection to the dead, communing with spirits almost as often as she draws breath, hence why she took Falon'Din's vallaslin.
· She had no idea until later that her clan sent her to the Conclave in hopes of her getting killed.
Nero Adaar- Qunari Warrior- Male- 30
· Nero never knew his mother, but was aware of his father. It was because of his father that he joined the Valo-kas.
· He has a half-sister, Danielle, that he didn't know about until he joined the Inquisition.
· He was the most lethal and vicious of the warriors amongst the Valo-kas. When asked about why he leaves such a mess on the battlefield, he simply says that it's "stress relief".
· If anyone dares to mention the Qun around him, expect their heads to be smashed into the table. He can't stand the Qun.
Skadi Cadash- Dwarven warrior- Female- nearing her 50s
· Skadi's the oldest of three girls in her family- with Caera as the middle child and Maelog "Mae" as the youngest.
· She was the one they called in to do the "dirty work" in the family and loved every moment of it.
· She is due to be the head of the Cadash family soon. With her father on his deathbed, she'll be taking over eventually.
· She handcrafts all her weapons- her favorite being her battleaxe known as "the Ballbuster".
2. Meaning behind their name, or at least reason why you chose it. Any would do.
Katherine: Well, Katherine is essentially me in DA, but my name is spelled differently from hers- being Kathryn. Also, Katherine- regardless of how it's spelled- means "Pure". Pfff.
Lloyd: He was actually named for the little brother I never had. Literally. I had found out some time ago that my mom had a miscarriage between the times me and my sister were born and I wanted to honor him in a way. Lloyd is actually my grandfather's middle name.
Kyna: I wanna say that Kyna is either Irish or Scottish in nature and it means "love".
Nero: Nero is an original character from an group that I was a part of. I modified him to be part of the DA verse. His name means "black".
Skadi: I think Skadi's name is based off of a goddess of battle. I wanna say Indian?
3. Any extra AU’s they’re involved in?
Ahahahahaha. There are so many AUs.
Nerdquisitor: It is the canon verse for Katherine, but in this verse, Lloyd is an apostate spy under the name "Enchanter".
Lloydquisitor: The canon verse for Lloyd, but in this verse, Kate is the leader of a band of bounty hunters and mercenaries known as the Crimson Blades. Also in this verse, Kyna is an emissary for Falon'Din and searching for Fen'Harel.
Then there's various other AUs- like a Coffee Shop AU where everyone exists- a Corrupt City AU- and a few others. XU But those are the only ones I can remember.
4. What nickname Varric gave them (or would if they ever met)?
Katherine: Mother Bear (she gets SUPER defensive over those she's close to); in Lloydquisitor, he calls her Firecracker (because of her unpredictability).
Lloyd: Whisper (because he hardly speaks up and makes his points known); in Nerdquisitor, he calls him Pretty Boy (because he prioritizes his appearance to an almost unhealthy degree).
Kyna: He never has a name for her, but he does say that she bears an uncanny resemblance in personality to someone named "Fenris".
Nero: Smiley (because Nero never smiles unless it's a smirk).
Skadi: Wildcat (because she's always on the prowl for various reasons.)
5. Favourite scent. Do they use it as a perfume? (I’m probably weird for wanting to smell your oc- I know that)
Katherine: She's always had a fondness for jasmine and cherry blossoms. But she's also developed a taste for the scent of leather and fireplace smoke. The former she'd wear over the latter. |D
Lloyd: He's always loved the scent of rain. As far as wearing anything like a perfume or cologne, not really.
Kyna: Her favorite scent has to be pond lilies. To her perfumes are rather frivolous and useless.
Nero: He quite enjoys the scent of leather and fire smoke- much like Kate does- but he also likes the scent of sweat, like when you just get done from training or working out. He'd definitely wear some sort of cologne.
Skadi: She has a thing for the scent of the sea and the scent of a tavern. She'd wear something light rather than powerful.
6. Their love interest. Why they were attracted to that certain person.
Katherine: Ho boy. At first, she couldn't exactly pinpoint WHY she garnered an attraction to the Iron Bull, especially since she had made it her goal to never fall for another person ever again. Bold words for her, but it failed. If anything when their relationship- although incredibly physical at first- started, she saw nothing but a means to relieve stress. But as she spent more time with him and the rest of the Chargers in the tavern and outside of Skyhold, she saw someone that not only could make her enjoy life again, but someone who was like her to a scary degree.
Lloyd: Dorian's charm, wit, and good looks were what snagged him at first. But as he spent more time with him, he could see that this was a man who would give anything to see his goals accomplished. If anything, Lloyd strives to be a lot like Dorian.
Kyna: She was more intrigued about Solas, than attracted to him to begin with. She never had an outsider's view of the world around her, so she wanted to learn more from him. Also he helped her come out of her icy shell exponentially.
Nero: He kinda never expected to find someone to fall for within the Inquisition. But Cassandra changed all of that. He admired her strength and drive and loved to tease her for her unabashed love of romance novels. Needless to say, it hurt when he had to choose all of Thedas over himself when he made her Divine...
Skadi: Skadi knows when someone's hiding a secret and knew something was up with Blackwall. She made it her mission to find out what it was. She didn't expect to be charmed by the Warden, but when it happened, she fell for him hook, line, and sinker.
7. Fighting style, preferred weapons, favourite spells. You can use all dragon age classes and specializations in DA universe as long as it sticks to canon.
Katherine: She at first was somewhat skilled in using a bow and arrow, thanks to her father's training, but due to an incident where her peripheral vision on her right eye was damaged, she made herself learn to dual wield daggers. Surprisingly, she took better to dual wielding than she did with a bow and arrow, preferring to get up close and personal to deal her damage- like the daggers were never there.
Lloyd: He's more of a protective mage than one who will go out and do damage. He focuses on using his mana to form barriers and dispel enemy spells, so his offensive magics- like elemental and such- are rather poor. But his mana control is supremely high, using it to flatten opponents with force or blast them away.
Kyna: As far as elemental spells, she took to the chill and harshness of ice magic quite easily. She prefers to immobilize an opponent with frost or blind them with harsh snowfall and winds. With her being so in-tune with spirits, she also took to necromancy easily, but prefers not to use it unless absolutely necessary.
Nero: Screw using puny daggers and swords to do damage, he will go out blazing with a large two-handed sword, killing without a shred of mercy. He uses his rage to fuel his power and the more you hurt him, the stronger- and angrier- he gets. He will not stop until everything is destroyed on the battlefield.
Skadi: Skadi is a lot like Nero in the fact that she shows no mercy. However, she doesn't attack without rhyme or reason. She's a lot more of a guardian or a bodyguard to those she sees needs the help. So she's a Champion with a teensy bit of either Berserker or Reaver.
8. Sum up their personality. Diplomatic, humorous or agressive? Do they enjoy violence? What’s their philosophy on killing.
Katherine: She starts off pretty diplomatic with the slightest bit of snark. However, as time passes, the snark and diplomacy are pretty well-balanced. As far as violence goes, she isn't fond of it, but sees that it is something that will eventually happen. And killing? She doesn't want to kill if she can help it, but she will if it's necessary.
Lloyd: He's diplomatic to a fault, but is the biggest pushover in all of Thedas. He's in need of some "hardening". He loathes violence with a passion and would prefer to not kill if he can help it.
Kyna: She's rather cold and humorless, leaning more on aggressively diplomatic. She views this as her chance to show her clan that she's not as worthless and as much of a burden as they believe. She doesn't like violence as it only makes her think of the crap she went through with the clan. While her experience was more emotional and verbal, physical violence just makes her lock up and freeze. Like the other two, she doesn't want to kill, but she will kill as an absolute last resort.
Nero: "Diplomacy is for pussies" is what he goes by. It never goes anywhere, so he will force things if nothing goes accordingly. And enjoying violence? Remember when I said it "relieves stress"? Violence does just that for him. And he shows no mercy, so expect to be killed if you ever come across him when he's angry.
Skadi: She knows how to juggle all three veins of the personality wheel, knowing when to be diplomatic, when to be direct, and when to be humorous. She is manipulative like that, but you'd never know it from looking at her. And hell yeah, does she enjoy violence and killing! Being the one to do the "dirty work" for her family... she lived for it.
9. Do they appear attractive for their own brethren? Are they’re attractive by human beauty standards?
Katherine: She's a human, so... But by human beauty standards, she's pretty plain. Long brown hair, brown eyes, pale skin... She's also somewhat chubby and doesn't wear clothes that are very becoming for her. She prefers to hide away than stand out.
Lloyd: He takes decent care of his appearance, but not to the extent of how he does in Nerdquisitor AU. To some he is attractive, but he fails to see it.
Kyna: In the eyes of humans, she is rather pretty with high cheekbones, sharp eyes, and fair skin. To those of her kind, she is attractive to a degree, but her personality makes her "ugly" to them. She's hardly vain.
Nero: While not quite as big as Bull is, to those of his kind, he is pretty handsome with his musculature and striking features. But also due to his size, he's pretty intimidating to everyone else. He's okay with that.
Skadi: To humans, she's a dwarf. Nothing real special about her. Her lines of age, round face, and er... large assets in the chest and rear make her stand out and she's all for the attention.
10. Place them on D&D character alignment chart.
11. Give me link to their inspiration/development tag. Pretty please :)
Eh... I’ll get to that later. |U
