That morning before going to the Kyoto Aquarium I went to an event hosted by a group on campus called SIED. They have been doing many different events on campus with international students in mind! I’ve been to their daily lunch talks, and scavenger hunts, etc. and just hanging out with the staff and the Japanese students participating is so much fun, and I’ve made so many friends through this group!
So this day a Kyogashi, special Kyoto styled sweets, even was held! We got to have the chance to take a class on how to make Kyoto traditional sweets called Kyogashi!I never knew how much concentration goes into making each of of those small desserts haha.
