I've been curious for a while but who handles the effects/visuals for the live performances? Do the visuals have significance to each song? For instance, I'm curious about the live 360 visuals for Karma (the huge scary eyes! loool Does it represent the Nihilist Sickness??) and how it relates to the song meaning as well as the visuals for Starlight in the 360 live which appears to be the view from a window of a long road! I heard the 360 tour was centered around the story for Kyombyou! Thanks!
Akita has said in an interview that besides lyrics, the biggest things he wants the audience to feel are the visuals and energy of the music, so I’m sure the visuals are chosen to match the meaning and atmosphere of each song. Additionally, with the plot-based performances such as “360° ‘Kyomubyou’”, the visuals have the extra purpose of matching the theme of the story, so they might not be completely related to the song itself in this case. The eye shown during “Karma” is the logo for NHGS, a group from Kyomubyou. I guess the visuals for “Starlight” were inspired by the lyrics, which uses a lot of travel-related imagery. (Most other performances of “Starlight” show a train flying through the galaxy.) I’m actually not sure who creates the visuals for the lives, I’d also be curious to find out.
