I know we clarified that sakakura is only 4 years older than naegi but I think the concept of sakakura and munakata actually being 7-10 years older than him is hilarious in the sense that it makes their hatred for naegi so much funnier to me, it’s just the ‘almost threw hands with a 13 year old’ meme

I think yes, but on a subconcious level. Munakata will not admit, even to himself, these feelings. Instead he feels as though HE is superior to Naegi, and that Naegi must submit to HIM.

As Naegi's parallel and hope of the FF I can see Munakata also having a heart gimmick, perhaps a white heart, that has different powers as he IS NOT the hope that Naegi is.

Yes. A big reason Munakata says he hates Naegi is because of the way he tackles despair. Which is to use his words and always have hope rather than taking direct action(which to Munakata is like. Murder JSKDKDKD). This is something Naegi did from the beginning so I love to think Naegi said "we won't kill each other!" the first time and Munakata's eye twitched.
