Kyotogyoen :)

This was a very interesting place for me to visit :) I went there because a friend I wanted to meet up with was a “bit” late :D My feeling is that Japanese are always late in their spare time (^-^;)

The weather that day was foreboding the Taifun that was going to sweep over Kyoto that night but it was still enjoyable to be outside :)

I always enjoy seeing the structure of Japanese houses :) This one a is a nice example of Japanese carpentry :3

This is a well made and big villa but it is not elaborately decorated or ornate. it leaves a very calm and subtle impression :) It is more like a gentle cool breeze on a hot day to your senses which makes it very enjoyable :)

It is a great place to enjoy after going to exciting places like Kinkaku-Ji, Kiyomizu-Dera or Sanjusangendo to enjoy something more subtle and to rest the senses :)

To me it was still exciting to see the beautifully aged and maintained wood of the buildings and the nice garden :)

I like to remember this place :)
