i think this is some kinda “i gave u all i had but he only gave u 20%” but it feels like the kinda quote douchey guys would use so

yeah tbh the first time I heard the quote it felt like a pretentious pat-yourself-on-the-back kinda thing.

and practically speaking if you only have $10 to your name WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU GIVE IT ALL TO SOMEONE. I think most people would feel concerned for you if you did that, not compare you to someone else.

Yeah that’s what I thought of too but idk it seems like a lot of work and I’d have to be able to produce new stuff on regular intervals and also offer people things? I have no idea how it works but I might look into it... I’d love to improve as an artist and start working on bigger projects and maybe make short fan comics too but I’m a full time student as well and I need to start working on my pro gradu thesis soon so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to find time for that stuff anymore after summer’s over. Getting paid for it would certainly help a lot.
