“Oh my god,” Damien groaned, hiding his face behind his hands in embarrassment. “For real. I’m so sorry,” he said to the firefighter who had just put out the small fire he caused by attempting to cook a romantic surprise dinner for his fiance. He forgot that the stove was on, the pasta burning and water overflowing while he was deep into playing Breath of the Wild. “I swore I never wanted to be one of those, y’know? It just...happened.”
“... And.. that’s all I have so far.. Nothing amazing, just a small thing.” Jesse shrugged, looking down at his guitar and back up.
