I'm most afraid of Magnus and Alec the most. Magnus really since rarely any Malay person (not Malaysian but historically speaking Indonesian, Malaysian and Filipino have Malay origins) gets into Hollywood or at least doesn't pegged as a house help
but after time out from Tumblr, pretty much concluded that after getting too disappointed in adaptations, I've already lost faith. Plus the attacks on being a 'white supremacist' without even asking why added up. Haha sorry for the ask spam though.
people shouldn’t be attacking you. You don’t seem like you’re a white supremacist. supremacists would be like “ALL THESE CHARACTERS MUST BE WHITE! EVEN THOSE THAT AREN’T WHITE IN THE BOOKS!! WHITE PEOPLE 4 LYFE!!” I doubt that the series will stereotype the characters, especially Magnus. The writers know how much we love Magnus, and I think they’ll do his character justice =) Alec, I think he’ll be good too, but with that, I’m hoping that the actor is better at showing Alec’s jealously at Clary, but also his softer side. I think in the movie he was too “GRRR CLARY, I LOVE JACE! I’M GONNA LASH OUT @ U BC JACE DOESN’T WANT MY DICK!!1!”
