Can I ask the translation of dates? I'm getting them tattoos in Korean and don't want to get them wrong. 4-8-1990 and 12-18-2017 (I'm sorry if you know why) if you can, thank you so much.
Yes, I do know why. :( He’s so missed.
Anyways, I assume you’re wanting to do Korean text of the numbers/dates, haha. So in Korean, we put the year, then the month, then the day (so, order = year, month, day). I’ll do it both ways (the way we would say it in Korean and literally just translating the dates in the American order), and you can just pick whichever you like. (gonna put a little plug in for one of our older posts explaining dates: http://koreanyousay.tumblr.com/post/15304320832/how-do-you-write-dates-in-korean-ex-november )
천구백구십구년 사월 팔일 - 이천십칠년 십이월 십팔일 (1990/4/8 - 2017/12/18)
사월 팔일천구백구십구년 - 십이월 십팔일이천십칠년 (4/8/1990-12/18/2017)
So if you’d rather go with the numbers, you could just do: 1990년4월8일 - 2017년12월18일.
Hope this is helpful, and I hope your heart is mending.
