(/she finishes singing with a soft hum, her amber eyes opening once again to glance at the black sky, glinting under the artificial lights of the park; she doesn't notice your presence and she lets out yet another sigh, her gaze falling onto her lap as her feet swing back and forth.)

As the latter's tune comes to a conclusion, Kyungsoo steps forward; fingers now urging against the insides of pockets to scrape at stray pieces of lint. 

A frail attempt at distraction.

"Excuse me..." he coos, the last of his words dissipating into nothing less than a foggy breath; which only manages to meld gracefully with the night air. "Miss?"

✞ (/hyuna is seated on a bench of the biggest park downtown, staring at the starless sky. oh how she missed the ocean, the streams of sunlight underwater. she glances at her watch; it reads 11pm. she heaves a soft sigh and looks around, making sure no one's around before she parts her lips and starts singing quietly; the melody is gentle and harmonious, alluring and she closes her eyes slowly, a small smile forming on her lips.)

Kyungsoo was on his way home.

Hands ensconced deep within the warm of denim pockets and shoes trudging through sullen leaf litter— the scattered debris of a city day.

The street lamps barely illuminated the walkway; looming golden rays flickering only to sheen Kyungsoo’s cheekbones and the bridge of his nose.

And then a voice— soft and melodious, filtering through the brisk night air only to grace ears but moments later. 

And it’s but seconds later that Kyungsoo feels himself being drawn; compelled. His footsteps no longer being forced of his own accord.

Finally, the boy halts but metres from a park bench, eyes widening in utter bewilderment as they fall to lay upon a female; petite and …singing.

"It’s.. beautiful." he murmurs, teeth latching to the soft flesh of a rosy lip.
