Moonbeams || Hyuna & Kyungsoo
Rain. Rain. A bucket full of rain here. An ocean's worth there. The only downside to autumn in Seoul is the endless amount of rain, pouring down on the city as if in a desperate, daily cleansing. Sometimes Kyungsoo pretends that he's in London, hiding beneath an umbrella to contain his imagination within his personal space. The teen enjoys autumn not only for the cover of rain, but also for the thin veil of fog that always seems to linger over the city during this time of the year. This way, it isn't so easy to discern between other-worldly beings and humans. This way, he can pretend that he is a normal human like most others in the city of Seoul. Kyungsoo likes the fog.
With an umbrella in hand and his jacket pulled tight, the teen makes his way down the streets and manoeuvres around the large crowds until he's left alone. Mr Do has never been fond of letting his son walk around in public due to his condition and the family business and a whole can of worms that can be saved for later times. But Kyungsoo enjoys being able to wander about in the places with which he is familiar. He appreciates the click clack of leather soles against pavement and the various other standard noises of city life. They offer a distraction that the boy welcomes all too well. Sometimes he just needs a break.
The boy slows down to a leisurely stroll when he reaches the river bank, feet following the paved path to the side. His eyes scan the area slowly, sometimes settling on something that appears particularly interesting. Save for the rushing of river water and the droning of rain everywhere, the area is otherwise quiet. Plucking his cell phone out from his pocket, Kyungsoo checks the time. 23:34. He's still got some time before he needs to head back home, so the teen tucks the device back into his pocket and continues pacing by the river. These little walks in the late night are always something Kyungsoo loves, but only when he's awake for them. It's the walks between three and seven in the morning that he dislikes, because he's either sleepwalking or completely forgets the hours in between, regaining awareness of his surroundings in places he's never been before. But for now, Kyungsoo enjoys this stroll. He enjoys the quiet.
