I'm a Sagittarius girl with a Virgo girlfriend. We have a year and half and we're pretty strong with each other but my only issue is problem with communication or comforting the other emotionally. I like to be alone when angry or sad and she worries I'm uninterested or upset at her. She stays quiet when it's real bad unless I keep poking and asking. Sometimes a little cold towards me. Any way we can communicate better?

Have you told her that you like to be alone when your angry? If not you probably should. Also I think (when you are both not upset) ask her what ways she likes to be comforted! Maybe she prefers a little distance too, or you’re not trying the right things. The best thing I think you can do is just ask.
