I just remembered for the nth time that back when I watched "Mr. Chapman, I Presume?" (aka L&HM episode 3) months ago, I figured out the main reveal/twist of the plot pretty early, since the episode is essentially recycled from Hitchcock's North By Northwest...

I feel this urge to write teleplay ideas for episodes of The Law & Harry McGraw that actually go the whole way and actually soft-parody classic film noir and Hitchcock thrillers and all that. I mean, Harry's first appearance in Murder, She Wrote is clearly inspired by The Maltese Falcon, and "Mr. Chapman, I Presume?" is a straight rip-off of North by Northwest, except without the famous airplane chase scene and Mount Rushmore climax.

I mean, just look at the potential! Double Indemnity? Strangers on a Train? Anyone else wanna gimme more ideas?

Watching L&HM Episode 6 (well, technically the 14th episode I have watched bc the channel uploaded them out of order on YouTube), and then they drop this banger:

"Are you and McGraw getting it on?" "😮"

That line was a fucking BOMBSHELL, and that is coming from someone who is quite literally living under the bombs atm.

I could definitely write an entire essay about the opening theme of L&HM, but it's probably not even that deep.

Not me watching a YouTube vid of the opening credits of The Law & Harry McGraw over and over for the sole purpose of properly inscribing it into my brain in the right key, because all the episodes available online have the sound one half-step higher than it should be 💀
