Life Update

Heyo sorry for the silence and lack of activity lately. It's been hectic for me over here. Besides hosting relatives over the holidays, I've also received the news that I'll be dropping out of college. I won't go into full detail because that's its own can of worms, but the tl;dr of it is that my parents and I agreed that I'll drop out of college if I fail one subject this semester. Fail one subject I did, and now here I am.

So, uh, been stressing about it for a while now and still figuring out how I'm gonna survive because the Philippines' economy is shit and there aren't many job opportunities for people like me. You know, as one, who experienced a life changing decision, should. I might make IF writing my full-time job and start taking commissions soon, but I don't know if that'll be sustainable in the long run.

Either way, I'll figure something out eventually. Hopefully. If you want to donate and help me out a bit, I do have a kofi. It's on the pinned post on this blog, and unfortunately a bit barren right now since I never had the time to put or make exclusive stuff yet. Though with the extra time I now have on my hands, I hopefully can start doing that.

I'm not forcing any of you, and please, if you need the money more, do not donate to me. Your own needs are just as important, so please give them priority too. Only give what you can, if you can. Any sort of help is appreciated and I will eternally be grateful to you.

Again, I am so sorry for the silence and I am still trying to work on my IF's despite the stress and all. Thank you all for your patience and understanding, and I deeply apologize again for the delays in chapters.

Planning to limit the customization options (specifically hair color, eye color, and skin color), compared to my other IF's where you can go to town with what color of hair or eyes that you want. I want Rabbit to look like an actual child of Horatio and Gaia (whom both have darker skin and colored eyes that delve into the darker green and yellow shades), since they are explicitly related to them by blood. Their siblings are also darker skinned like their parents, and I don't want Rabbit to stand out in a very bad way by looking nothing like their family by just having a vastly different complexion.

And for those who want to/are willing to headcanon their version of Rabbit as adopted just so they can justify why they should be the whitest, palest thing on earth, then that's plain disrespectful.

I have had this planned for a while, ever since I started making the Playable Trailer for this IF.

Just putting this out there, so you all can set your expectations for this IF.

If you're not a fan of this decision, then, uh, I can't do anything about that. If you end up attacking me or sending rude things in my inbox about this, none of that will make me change my mind, and well... say hi to the block hammer for me.

Hey, guys. I won't be online for a bit, because I'll need some time to grieve for a while.

One of my family's dear cats died (a senior tabby named Gigi, and who's been with me and my family for 8 years now) due to getting her lower half of her body fractured. We don't know who did it or how she got it, but we suspect that it's from a passing car or an unattentive driver in the neighborhood. Either way, I'm just glad she doesn't have to suffer through the pain anymore and gets to be in peace now.

Writing and coding isn't on pause, if that's what you're worried about. I'll still be working on it offline when I can.

I'll still finish and post the writing prompt request I have in my drafts, so, to the anon who sent it to me, I apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience.

Love you, Gigi. You'll always be my family's first and beloved pet. I hope you get to nap all day under the sun without any more worries.

Primal urge to draw all of the RO's and MC being goofy just being teens doing dumbass things and having fun.

Doing the technical stuff (coding, in other words) first so it won't bite me in the ass later for being unfinished and so messy down the road

Redid some stats (Student Profile stats especially) because what was I even on when I coded them back in October, so you might need to restart the IF when chapter 1 comes out so the codes won't bug out like an 80's nightclub goer after midnight.

Behold the Skills menu, and a set of code behind one of the skills. I'll be working on Relationship menu next... which is gonna be a bit more complicated. *sob*

Max for each skill stat is 25. It's a slow and gradual rise, so don't worry about speedrunning to Grade A skill... unless you decide to solely focus on one skill, then go off monarch. Skill levels do bring variance in texts, though there won't be any required skill stat level choices. I know how much of a pain choices like those can be sometimes.
