POWAY!!! That's right everyone, I'm back home because I played a gig with Enzo and Mozart tonight. It was a great show and Enzo and Mozart did a great job! Well I'm leaving again tomorrow morning because I have class but I'll be back on Saturday for the L.E.M. concert!!!

Hey everyone! We'd just like to remind you that this concert is free and is only an hour and a half! Please show your support by dropping by! Eric is coming down from Santa Monica to play this show, and I know some of you guys haven't seen him in a while, so it would be awesome for you to drop by and say hello! If the fact that the concert is at a church is causing some of you to be hesitant about going, please remember that this event is an awesome family friendly autumn celebration with food, drinks, games, dancing, and alcohol hosted by St. Michael Church, so please don't be shy and come party! Feel free to bring your families as well...it's appropriate for all ages, races, religions, ideologies, and whatever method of identification people wish to interpellate themselves with! The festival is from 12 noon to 10 PM, but our concert time slot is from 7 PM - 8:30 PM, so feel free to come early and join in on the fun! Life just keeps getting better and better.
It's only 3 days into October and everything is just going super smoothly. I feel like all the things that have been preoccupying me for a while are finally starting to disappear. My father is recovering and doing better than ever. My band L.E.M. is super motivated and determined to finish our album. I've made an awesome friend who always makes me super happy...I love that super amazing dork <3
Well I want to touch on L.E.M. very briefly. Pretty soon we will be recording. That's pretty crazy to think about. I can clearly remember the first song I wrote for the band last July. It honestly wasn't too impressive, but once the band started to put their touches on it, it soon became one of our favorites. After recording we need to pick an album title. And then we need to find an artist who can draw the album cover art. Anyone up for the challenge?
School is busy but I'm having fun. I had class from 7:30 AM - 9:30 PM today, and it honestly wasn't too bad. Hanaa said she had a strange dream about me, and I really want to know what it was, but she won't tell me! She said I have to write a song for her first. So I'm writing a quick song for her called "Baby (Please Tell Me Your Dreams)". I'll put it on her facebook wall when I'm done. I hope you guys will think it's funny.
I think Lily's moving into her house tomorrow, after 2 months of living in a motel. I'm so happy for her, you don't even know. Living in a motel for that long is more horrible than any of you could ever imagine. Now she can have her own space and everything. Maybe she could do the album cover art. Hmmmm...
One of my professors knew who Jojo Mayer was. I can't believe it. Jojo Mayer is my favorite drummer of ALL TIME, and my professor saw him live...I'm so jealous!!! I didn't even think anyone knew who Jojo Mayer was!
Okay well you guys can all probably tell that I'm a little bit happier than usual. Just when I thought a lot of angst was building up inside of me, everything just turned around and now I'm super happy. October, don't fail me now. I don't want to repeat another crying-filled month like last month. I love life so much right now :]
