first time meeting each other
you were his Mechanic, his first memory of you is your knees sticking out the top of his car as you had to go into it upside down to fix the peddles during pre-season testing. along with another mechanic, he had to help pull you out when you inevitably got stuck. it made for a funny tiktok but your dignity was out the window almost instantly when you saw lance was there.
first date
he took you to lunch at a book cafe after you mentioned always loving books as a kid. you sat there for almost 4 hours together but you ignored him for books for most of the date, not that lance minded, he got some good waffles and a nap in while you where riveted in your book. that was also when he found out you wore reading glasses, so now he always gives you something to read so he can see you in glasses.
first kiss
it was the Wednesday before the monaco grand prix, the whole team went for a hike but you and lance managed to sneak away for a moment when you got to the top of the trail. you had a little conversation about the new upgrades coming in and that was lance realized he loved you. he kissed you before you could finish talking, making you pause mid sentence to glare at him. you kissed him again before going on with your rant, making lance smile like a school girl with a crush.
first i love you
while he was recovering from the accident, you were with him every step of the way. to laugh at him, of course. he had just gotten the all clear to race and was ecstatic. that was when you told him that you loved him, and you were so proud of him and how hard he had worked to get in the car to race. he told you he loved you as well after the race when he got p6, and he thanked you over and over again for giving him a good car this season.
