Hello! I'm planning on buying bodyline's l031 in brown but I have no brown in my wardrobe. I am a sweet lolita with black and white as neutrals, and my colors are pink, green and blue. I'm thinking of coording it with either just neutral white, or with pink and mint. A pink cardigan, mint and brown socks and a brown barette with simple white here and there. Would this be acceptable? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I think that would work fine but I would also add some more pink and mint in with smaller accessories.

On bodyline's website, jsk l031 in brown looks like the "white part" is blue? is this what it actually looks like irl? i've seen hauls and pictures and stuff that shows the dress and it almost looks like a mocha brown colour? i'm just not sure about it colour wise ;;

Based on what I've seen the overall dress is lighter brown, I supose mocha would be a good word for it, and the white color is more of an off white. It's just another case of Bodyline using terrible stock photos.

I was on bodyline, and I was thinking of getting L031. Do you think it would be a good jumperskirt? I'm sort of new so it's hard for me to tell, but I rather like it. I was thinking of getting it in pink, since I'm a sweet lolita. If you don't like that one, would L329 in pink be better to get instead?

Both of them are fine. I'm personally a bigger fan of L031 because I like polkadots.

Hello Queen of Lolita Tips. I am getting a petti and Bodyline's L031 JSK in purple for Christmas. Could you tell me, Your Loli Majesty, how can I coordinate it and what kind of blouse would be best for it?

All this queen stuff is getting out of hand.

But anyway, I think it would work well for a Classic/Sweet coord because it has a very Sweet look in the details but the sort of grayish purple is more Classic. (The stock photo isn’t great for showing the coloring so I had to look for a review to see the color better and I actually kind of love it. It’s apparently the same purple they used for Love Nadia.) You could use a number of different blouse styles, but I would love to see it with a high collar. It think it would give it a very elegant look and it woudn’t take away from the pretty yoke. A square neckline may also be a good option so you get the sleeves and the shoulder coverage but once again nothing covering the top of the JSK. Most styles of collars would work fine though, I would just stay away from anything that has a big bow or anything like that which would hang down the front.

Hello! I just wanted to mention that bodyline's L031 in brown has the same color lace as the other colorways. I think that it was jut a bad photograph on their site. if you look up the bodyline tag on tumblr, a few pictures down you see some worn pictures that show it has normal lace

That’s good to know. I know Bodyline has some really bad stock photos but that one is just awful. I’m glad it’s not actually that color.

what's your opinion on L031? does the lace around the dress look weird or out of place to you? i always have a hard time judging bodyline items until i see them in person, and i havent seen anyone wearing L031 yet! thank you for your time~

I don’t think anything looks weird or out of place. I think it’s cute. The only version I don’t like is the brown because I don’t think the color of the lace looks good with it.
