Loving the steel mill shots. Did you get any interiors?
I’m afraid not--I’m not having any luck getting into steel mills. I’ve been to a number of them, in 5 cities, and as of today the only interior I’ve shot has been the Carrie Furnace, on a tour.

I've got into some places by taking boards off but will always re-secure. Chances are you shouldn't have to tho as it will open up. I know some who go equipped with crow bars and bolt cutters but if the police catch you with that it's a whole new ballgame.
I'm into places you can drive a truck through the open doors!

Do people take the same stance in the US as in the UK where a lot of explorers think less if it's a permissi or official access? To me access is access. It's more fun doing it unofficial with the element of risk but either way is good when some places you'll never get into unless it's with permission.
I think it's mostly the same here with hardcore explorers. Myself, I'm more into history and preservation and less into the risky nature of just getting into a building. I won't force my way into a closed building, but I have scaled fences.

And from one explorer to another may there be no silent alarm CCTV or security sir.
The alarm was shut off, and good thing with police on the premises. As I made my way around the building, I had a chance meeting with Marilyn Rodgers, Executive Director/CEO of the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation. She was about to take a friend on a private tour, and invited me along!
Take a look at some history.
