First day of class and my professor already doesn't show up

I hope that isn't a standard for what the rest of the semester is gonna be like

I want to get my very first lolita dress from Bodyline for Christmas and I'm narrowed down to the Yukata L300 and the jumperskirt L313. Which do you think I should get? I plan on wearing it to cons and if I'm lucky a meetup once I get connected.

I'm a little biased because I'm not a big fan of Wa Lolita so I like the JSK better. Compared to some of their other Wa Lolita dresses though that's definitely one of the better ones in terms of quality and overall cuteness. I still think the JSK is a better option though because there will be more ways to wear it (long sleeved blouse, short sleeved blouse, cardigans, boleros) while you're pretty set with how to wear the other one (blouses are useless for it and there's no way you're fitting a cardigan or bolero over those sleeves.)

So, I simply cannot choose what JSK from bodyline I want! I've narrowed it down to L345 (in red), L144 (in black), or L313 in mint. Also, could I wear pink shoes with all three?

345 is my favorite because I think the print is really pretty. I think red shoes would be ideal, but pink would work as well. 144 is my second favorite and could definitely use pink shoes. I don't think pink shoes would work very well with 313 though because there isn't a lot of pink at all and there's a lot of other stuff going on that adding pink might be a little overwhelming. It might work, but I'm having trouble picturing it.

I can't decide between bodyline's l144 (carousel) jsk in black and l313 (strawberry shortcake) jsk in mint or sax. The cons to l144 is the fact that it's pretty hot currently, so all that heat will be attracted to me, and that it would be harder to find matching pony accessories. But l313 is pastel, so it would be easier to stain, i don't have matching shoes, but i could find strawberry accessories easy (and decoden them too). Help?

I don’t really see most of your cons as actually being cons. The only one I think would be is the fact that the black will indeed draw heat more easily. Pony accessories are actually very easy to find all around Lolita shops, brand, offbrand, indie, etc. because carousels and ponies are extremely popular in Sweet Lolita. The cons for 313 are easy to fix, you can easily buy a pair of shoes to remedy the not having matching shoes problem, maybe buy a pair of white shoes so they’ll be more versatile than mint or sax, and as long as you’re careful you shouldn't worry too much about it getting stained. You certainly shouldn't go your whole Lolita life refusing to wear colors you love. Just keep some Shout wipes in your purse in case of an emergency and go for it.With all that said, if you’re looking for something to wear during the Summer, I would go with the strawberry one. The lighter color will attract less heat and the strawberry print is cute and summery.
