HERE IS A COMMENT ONE OF LA GRISAs GUESTS LEFT: "This is a beautiful, superbly run small hotel in a protected area of a quiet, medieval town - a perfect base for exploration of Istria. Rooms are very comfortable, well equipped and decorated with a lot of care and thought for the original architecture. The hotel also features a very interesting collection of original artwork by a local artist. We thought the staff exceptionally professional and helpful. La Grisa restaurant has one of the best sommeliers in Croatia and unsurprisingly an impressive wine list which Karin and Marko knowledgeably guided us through. The restaurant is newly opened and apparently not yet featured in any of the restaurant guides, but definitely worth a visit – the dishes coming out of chef Nikola’s kitchen are seasonal, made with fresh, local ingredients, beautifully presented and cooked to the perfection (we’ve happily worked our way through their menu during our two-week stay).
