i just moved to la from a small town & ive never been to a festival/rave/stuff like that but i really want to, but i dont know anyone here yet & im not into the idea of going alone & being there by myself all lost & clueless, do u have any advice?
Welcome to LA! You’ve come to the right place. There’s so much going on here to check out. There’s small events at clubs, warehouse parties and huge raves.
I think since you’re new to the area, you might have to go to some events alone initially. Perhaps if you’re nervous about this, try smaller ones. I’ve answered a few questions about going alone and how to make it easier, so you can check out those answers here. I know it’s scary, but once you go to one event, you make friends with people to meet up with again at the next one!
Alternatively, give it some time. You’ve just moved here and you’ll start to make some friends and find some who might want to go to an event with you. This way you don’t have to go alone, and you can explore an event together and meet more people. People who go to festivals and raves LOVE bringing new people to them, so if you find someone with a similar interest in events, it will be an easy way to go! You might not be friends with this person forever, but you at least have a group for your first event while you meet more people.
