Oh yeah, some bakeries do have waiters don’t they? Have some bakery AU’s~
Person A has been left to run a family bakery previously owned by their late grand parents. It was once a fairly popular shop among the locals, but one faithful day it permanently closed its doors without explanation, and was never opened again–until A. Many of the people in town who remember the old bakery are incredibly excited to see it reopen its doors, and refill the air with the smell of bread and treats. A is more than happy to bring it back, but there’s just one problem–they can’t bake. Luckily for them their first employee, Person B, is one of the best, and might have just enough time to teach A everything they know before the grand reopening.
Person A has worked at a bakery for a few years now, and it recently just changed ownership. A’s bummed they have to say goodbye to their boss, but tries to keep an open mind towards the new one. Unfortunately, their openness doesn’t pay off. The new owner, Person B, is a total ass hat. They don’t have any passion for baking (in fact, they can’t bake at all), hate most sweets, and are clearly only in the business for money–going against everything the previous owner stood for. The two are always bickering, with B contentiously finding ways to insult A’s cooking, or threaten to sell the shop. Absolutely pissed at their attitude, A plans to improve it by show B the wonder full art of baking~. Or as A put it; “this mother fucker is going to learn how to bake a cupcake if it kills them”
