All multiples of 10!
10. What were you doing at midnight last night?
Going with sleeping…or was I playing Arkham Knight? One of those two.
20. What is your best physical attribute? (showing said attribute is optional)
Eyes– I think. I’ve also it on authority that I have nice thighs??
30. Your house is on fire, holy shit! You have just enough time to run in there and grab ONE inanimate object. Don’t worry, your loved ones and pets have already made it out safely. So what’s the one thing you’re going to save from that blazing inferno?
D: Probably the third Harry Potter book, my Grandmother was the person who gave me the first four and out of those that would probably be my favorite to read.
40. Do you prefer sunrises or sunsets?
I’ll say sunsets just because I’m more awake to appreciate those usually.
50. What is the most unusual conversation you’ve ever had?
So many…
One was with my Grandma when she was still living with my dad, right before she went to assisted living/nursing home. She was seeing and hearing things. I was told her doctor said her brain wasn’t stimulated enough since she was alone all the time and never did anything besides watch TV and sleep.
She told me that a man came into her room while she was sleeping and just stood in her doorway. She pretended to be asleep because she didn’t know who he was. She also said my dad was have loud parties in the basement and inviting women over that she didn’t like. She said she couldn’t get any rest in the house any more with all these people.
The thought that popped into my head was that she was starting to see a kind of “in-between” world. You know, like the closer you get to death the lines between her and the next world-- or spirit world or whatever you want to call it--- just started blurring. That was just the first thing that came to my mind, I have no idea why.
No one believed her of course. She would get angry with my father and sister because they would dismiss it. She would just talk to me about it when they left the room. For what she knew, my dad was in on it conspiring against her. And I swear I’ve never seen her more serious then when she would tell me about the people walking around at night. So when she asked me to believe her, I did.
60. Do you believe in aliens?
Yes, no necessarily little green men but, life beside us in the universe? Definitely.
