Dr. Corvus here. I've been instructed by Dr. S. Vekoslav, international lead of the Clara Aetas Institute of Neuroscientific Exploration, to make this page "aesthetic".
How can one make a buzzing hub of scientific discovery with no borders or barriers aside from the brittle confines of Nature herself into an aesthetic blog and expect that to be what entices people in?!
Either way, I, and my colleagues, are open to answer any public questions to the best of our abilities. We hope that you appreciate our clarity.
Sometimes, being different isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
In the beginning, though- Things were great. The discovery of what are now commonly referred to as 'anomalous individuals' by the general public was seen as a scientific breakthrough; the idea that people could be born or made to be 'more than human' had always been seen as a dream to be had, something that would never come true.
Until it did.
[ Full details and invite link below the cut ]
For a while, there was an attempt to embrace such a discovery- It was accepted, the more anomalies came out of the woodwork, and these individuals were loudly heralded almost as celebrities to the powerless general public. I mean- Who wouldn't want to look up to someone like that? Who wouldn't want to be that? You'd be able to do anything, right?
Anything you wanted.
That was the problem that slowly arose- As science furthered their advancements, and more of these individuals came into the limelight… Those in power began to get nervous. What would they do with this, if it got into the wrong hands? They could upturn any government they wanted. Change the tides of war, even. It was too uncontrollable. Too unpredictable. There was no doubt someone, somewhere would begin to get ideas. People will do anything to get what they want when given the chance.
And so… These anomalies were globally criminalized. Many individuals began to go into hiding, but it was often too late- It's hard to hide when the world knows your face.
But where would they put them all? Prison wasn't an option- The infrastructure was made for regular people, wasn't it?
Or was it?
That was where the Asklepian Foundation came in. It was an operation put together just to deal with the situation- Both further capture of so-called ‘anomalous individuals,’ and figuring out what to do with them in the long run. Thus was the creation of containment facilities across the world- Several in every continent to ensure, when push came to shove, that there would be enough space as more anomalies were discovered.
… Which brings us to Érevna. Nestled comfortably within the forests of Oregon and directly accessible only by helicopter, it is one of many state-of-the-art containment facilities that has since been erected by the Foundation. Here, as with other facilities, the aim is to provide top of the line care for housed anomalous individuals and, some day, allow them to return to living a normal life- At least, that’s what they want the public to believe is the goal.
Despite its inviting outward appearance, not everything is as it seems. The Asklepian Foundation’s claims of wanting to help these individuals may not be the full truth. Rumors are rampant, and whispered claims of the group pulling wool over the eyes of the world come out every day, but it hasn’t yet proven to be enough to truly expose what the Foundation may actually be hiding.
Welcome to Érevna, subject. Please enjoy your stay.

Hey! My friends and I have this cool discord server called LookOutLabs S22
The RP is mainly based around a facility where people with powers are kept. Scientists- some with powers, and some without -watch over the subjects. (There's no set schedule, and all of the subjects kinda just vibe.)
So far, we're planning on making AUs, but none have been made yet!
We use a bot called Tupperbox for RPs, but if you don't know what that is don't feel intimidated! The staff are more than happy to give a small tutorial on how to use it!
Hope to see you there!
