Love Island LABADI Bikini
To celebrate the premiere of Love Island LABADI, I’m excited to share my very first ever piece of custom content: the Labadi Bikini!
I have converted the swimsuit top from laupipi’s “Swimsuit BW418” and paired it with the swimsuit bottom from applewatersugar’s converted “Insomnia Swimsuit”
As it is my first ever outfit (and I was rushing to do it in time for the premier!) it is a bit wonky in places and just has one recolour. All wonkiness and other errors are completely my own fault! Feel free to recolour/remesh/rewhatever, but I would love it if you tag me when posting any changes or recolours as I would love to have it in my game.
I would also like to give a shoutout to The SimForge’s workshop video “Brave Little Tailor” as this helped me immensely and I would really recommend watching if you are interested in converting sims 4 clothing.

Hi my name is Sofie and I want to be your new favourite Afro/RnB artist 💖🇬🇭🌊 3AM in Labadi from my EP Waves in the 233
“THE WISHING WELL” Last Friday through to Sunday, Serge Attukwei Clottey @afrogallonism together with his team installed his “The Wishing Well” work in his Labadi community. The installation was mirrored a similar installation that is currently on show as part of @_desertx 2021 in the Coachella Valley in California. #labadi #accra #ghana #africa #thewishingwell #sergeattukweiclottey #afrogallonism #installation #art #contemporaryart #coachellavalley #california #desertx #artnewsafrica #dynamicafrica #streetstyle #streetstyle #visiterlafrique #accrawedey (at Accra, Ghana) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMu1979JVSM/?igshid=1nxsssvqxiel7
Love Island LABADI Watch Party
Darla’s family and friends gathered for a watch party to celebrate the premiere of Love Island LABADI, and they absolutely lived for the drama! No matter what chaos Darla gets herself into (or out of) in the villa, her loved ones will be cheering her on every step of the way. They’re incredibly proud to see a sim from their neighbourhood make it onto television (and they have the t-shirts to prove it!)
You can watch the first episode of Love Island LABADI here.
Love Island Labadi: Darla Mhalah
Darla is a sim born in my 10-year-old neighbourhood (but don’t worry, the uploaded sim is a clone). She is the youngest of four and knows exactly how to make herself stand out. Fresh from graduating with a Political Science degree from Sim State University, Darla is hustling her way to neighbourhood domination by getting a job as a Campaign Manager and has her sights set on becoming Mayor.
At university, Darla was known for her wild side, a party girl who wasn’t afraid to break a few hearts (and necks) along the way! But there’s more to Darla than nectar and drama, she’s driven and confident. Once Darla has decided she wants something (or someone), she doesn’t let anything get in her way!
A fitness lover through and through, Darla needs a man who can match her pace and keep up with her athletic hobbies. Her ideal partner is creative and just as ambitious as she is. Importantly, a man who gives her space to shine and is her biggest supporter. Could Tristen be that man?
Personality: Neat (5), Outgoing (5), Active (9), Playful (8), Nice (1).
Aspiration: Popularity (primary) and Romance (secondary).

If anyone uses Darla in their game, I would love to see how she gets on!

A salon build I’m working on in Labadi. This is where all the aunties gather to get their hair did and gossip 🤭
I intend to add some hair posters like these as decor around the lot, as a LOT of African hair salons have these types of posters as style inspo for customers. And then some other clutter items then I’m pretty much done with it! The baby store is right next door.
