Hey all, this isn’t my usual sort of post, but I wanted to share this memorial piece I drew of Mohammed ‘s cat Leo, who recently passed away.
I have been following Mohammed and his cat for the last few months and have seen the many horrors they have had to endure to survive the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Struggling to afford extremely overpriced food, escaping constant bombings, and even losing their original fundraiser - Mohammed has continued to be strong and keep going, and yet is again faced with another terrible loss. Despite surviving starvation, being injured by shrapnel, hurting his leg, and constantly moving, unfortunately, Leo’s body could not withstand any longer. I really thought he would make it through like each time before, and was deeply saddened to see his journey finally come to an end.
Leo’s story may be over, but Mohammed is still fighting to survive, and so is his family!!! Please share his accounts and current fundraiser and donate if you can, it would mean a lot to me. ❤️
