I am a black femme lesbian myself and have had thorough looks into our history, I’m not sure why I would erase myself? Hey I was just wondering what a green witch is because you had it in your into post!

hey my love! a green witch is a witch that works closely with the earth, like plants and animals and spirits of the land/sea/air. I use a lot of herbs and do spell work on healing and honoring Mother Earth. it’s not a traditional religion like paganism, more like an open practice, so everything is very loose and self-paced! 🤍

i’ve been wanting to get into spirituality, how did you get into being a green witch and how could other people start?

I think the best thing to do is research from the beginning! I started in middle school with a book on green witchcraft (I’ll add a photo) that explains it really well. The author also has other books for other paths. As you get more physical books you’ll find more knowledge that aligns with you and your own beliefs better, since not everything works for everybody. If advise not to look on social media for anything since you need reputable sources in this field 😭

My order of research was:

Origins of witchcraft (including wise women of the past) -> types of witches -> small scale spells you can do as a beginner

And whether you believe in energetic karma or not I wouldn’t advise cursing anyone just yet, you never know what wards or spirits are protecting them and baneful magic is just something to be weary of when just starting out. Blessed be!
