Harding: Your consonants sound pretty crisp to me. I like the way Qunari sounds when you speak it.

Taash: Nah. I’m saying it wrong.

Harding: That’s what Shathann says?

Taash: (Grunts)

Harding: She's real hard on you, huh?

Taash: (Grunts indecisively) Just trying to teach me. Like a tamassran.

Harding: I don’t think that’s a tamassran thing. I think it’s a mom thing.

Harding: Why are the other Lords of Fortune always jumping off the docks?

Taash: It’s a drunk game. We found an old goblet made from fool’s gold in a ruin once. Kept it as a trophy.

Taash: Someone tosses it into the water. The others dive in and hunt for it.

Taash: Whoever finds the goblet gets free drinks for the rest of the night.

Harding: Oh. Well, that sounds like…fun.

Taash: Hey. You can use your stone-thing to raise the seabed for me. Make things easier.

Harding: Isn’t that cheating?

Taash: It’s not against the rule.

Harding: The? Rule? There’s only one?

Taash: Yep. No punching in the junk.

Harding: Well, if you’re only gonna have one rule, I suppose that’s the one to have.

Taash: You and your mother talk about stuff a lot.

Harding: She’s my ma! I don’t know what I’d do without her.

Harding: Just knowing she’s out there, ready with a hug, makes the world seem brighter, you know?

Taash: Huh.

Harding: Shathann not a hugger?

Taash: Our horns’d get tangled up.

Harding: What about when you Lords jump off that giant cliff?

Taash: Another drunk game. You get drunk and jump off the giant cliff.

Harding: Any rule for that one?

Taash: Don’t hit the water face-first.

Harding: This is a weird question, but do you think I could sit on your shoulders in battle one day?

Taash: Why?

Harding: I could shoot at people. And you could axe them. We'd be walking artillery. Unstoppable.

Taash: Oh. Ohhhh. Yes.

Taash: What do you do when your mother pushes on something?

Harding: Pushes?

Taash: Like chores. Or studying. Stuff like that.

Harding: Oh, you know. I might complain, but I know she’s just looking out for me.

Taash: Huh.

Harding: If we really disagree though, we talk about it.

Harding: Why? Is there something you want to talk to your mom about?

Taash: (Scoffs) No.
