This little lacewing flew off to Australia a year ago. So much of my work has ended up there. I was relieved to read that after more than 240 days, the wildfires have died down in New South Whales. My heart aches for what the people and the animals affected by these traumatic wildfires went through. I thought and still think of you all every day and I shed a lot of tears. I feel helpless during these tragedies. Over a billion animals, birds, and reptiles are thought to have perished.
