Lachlan Dunsirn was supposed to be a correction to the failures of his older sibling Heather, a way for his parents to still contribute a worthy child to the Hecata.

The embrace didn't take the way it should have. Lachlan would end up a Caitiff, even more offensive to the family than a Lasombra, but without an organized clan to report back to, he was a failure they could choose to ignore... After a necromancer in the family left their mark on him via the unreadable scars that travel down several of his body's meridians.

Lachlan moved to America, and (coping with his feeding habits, being an organovore), he struggled to find his place within the strict hierarchy of the Camarilla after finding himself unable to work around their rules (even when feeding primarily on corpses that he, notably, did not kill), and struggled even more with an attempt to join the Anarchs who viewed him with nothing short of suspicion for both his feeding habits, his connection to the Hecata, his connection to the Camarilla, and his status as a Caitiff.

He was found, late one night, on the beach in Miami crouched over a body that he had killed (a tourist who had been at the wrong place at the wrong time) by a Tzimisce named Elena Navarro-Luna. Elena told him that he shouldn't be ashamed, that he's only trying to survive and life is cheap. Apart from that, nobody would cry over a cow being slaughtered, so why should this be any different?

Elena would take him under her wing and bring him into the Sabbat as a pseudo-sire. He already had shown a capability to use Protean and Dominate as naturally as others of her clan, so she would begin to teach him and hone those abilities in tandem with the Oblivion abilities he has as well, telling him that he's not a mistake, that he's arguably closer to Caine than those who have defined clans, and most importantly that he's a demigod.

Lachlan is still a Graverobber PT because it's what he's familiar with, but it's not out of any moral obligation. He follows the Path of Caine and is a deadly warrior in the Gehenna War though doesn't follow many overly intellectual pursuits.

Changed my mind in the sabbat game and I'm playing as a cousin of Heather's who was supposed to be a Dunsirn, ended up being a Caitiff when it didn't quite take. He leaves because he's a black sheep of the family and he is given an oh so very generous ultimatum of "leave and lose your name or stay and we kill you" so he left.

BUT before he leaves he gets the word scarred flaw. Still parsing out how but I think it is necromancy related.

Lachlan ends up in Miami and when he finds other Kindred who accept him for what he is, and seem to be supportive in fact, tell him that he's good and useful and strong and that there's a whole group of people that would see the benefit he provides to them and the divinity within him--...

And so he joins a Sabbat pack in the Miami area.

His disciplines are Dominate/Protean/Oblivion (and this is v5) so he will be learning Vicissitude. I think he has a mawla who is his emotional support brick wall Tzimisce. The ST said for Road/Path reasons, that convictions and touchstones will be reflavoured to fit the Sabbat, and can be other Kindred for this purpose, so I think they are his connection to his path.

And for paths I'm still debating but I'm thinking Cathari since his social and physical skills are high. He is like Heather in the sense that he can just absolutely fucking body someone without breaking a sweat. AND unlike Heather who is a cannibal because it enjoys being a cannibal, he is an Organovore. So yipee he sucks
