Am I the only one who headcanons that mordecai has misophonia? Mostly because of his reaction to rocky chewing in that one pancake side comic

As someone also with misophonia I made the exact face he did when I heard the comic dub for it

Out of curiosity do any of y'all have Atlas May thoughts/headcanons? There's barely any content regarding theories about him so I'm interested to know. For instance a few things I've always wondered is what was it like to work under him? How would he treat you? What odd mannerisms or quirks did he possibly have? Did he truly ever love anyone who worked for him or was a part of his life such as Mordecai, Ruby, Mitzi, Ivy, or perhaps even Rocky? I'd love to know your thoughts ♣️🌙

So 3 things:

1. I did and still somewhat do struggle writing for the Savoys, so I did leave them out but I might comeback and add them in for a pt 2.

2. I am...far too rusty with headcanons.

Mordecai, Viktor x RussianBlue! Reader

Mordecai

• You remind Mordecai of Viktor at first, albeit a younger, far more talkative version of him.

• Last time Mordecai and Viktor worked together was... not the greatest, and so he decided to be extra closed off around you.

• That said, he can't help but stare at you from across the Marigold.

• He'd spent hours just watching you intently, listening to your accent and your laugh, admiring your beautiful fur.

• Admiring? Well, Mordecai would never admit it, and maybe it wasn't that at first, but everyone around him knows.

• That's why the Savoys forced convinced him to go and talk to you.

• It was awkward at first, obviously, but you did get the chance to surprise him when he didn't scare you off.

• He tried. It's a defense mechanism he's developed to get out of social situations, thanks somewhat to Mitzi.

• But you didn't find an opening and leave like most people who, in fairness, tried to flirt with him first.

• Still, he didn't think much of that conversation.

• Until you showed up the next day and kept talking to him.

• It took well over a week, but he began initiating your interactions.

• He claimed it was just him avoiding the Savoy twins, which wasn't entirely wrong, but it's clear he does like talking to you.

• Eventually you do ask him out, and at his insistence you keep it small and quiet.

• After all Nico and Serafine would never let him hear the end of it.

• And that's how things go between you two: quiet, private moments.

• He's not as outright silent as Viktor would be, but you still take the lead for most of your conversations.

Viktor

• You and Viktor are kindred spirits in many ways.

• Both of you came from Eastern Europe, both of you managed to land in St. Louis, and both of you ended up spending most of your time at the Lackadaisy at its prime.

• Granted he worked for them, and you just went for the good times.

• Though, it wasn't until after Atlas' death and the subsequent decline of the Lackadaisy that you two would begin to regularly interact.

• You usually passed by the Little Daisy Cafe on your way home from work, and one cold night, a mix of nostalgia and curiosity got the better of you.

• Good thing you kept that pin on you.

• No other patrons were down there, as you expected, so you popped onto a stool at the bar and you and Viktor ended up getting along.

• Granted, it's hard to tell, hence why everyone just watched as you chatted away to Viktor, but you could tell.

• And that's how things went for a long time.

• Viktor rarely added to the conversation, but he did listen intently to you.

• That's enough for you.

• Even after you did begin dating (at Ivy's insistence), the status quo doesn't change much, although he does give his input a bit more often.

• But he really doesn't need to talk to show his affection for you. He's more of an "acts of service" guy.

• He walks you home at night, he fixes just about everything in your house, taking care of your home when you need to leave for a few days, etc etc.

• And that slight smile he gives you, that tells you everything he's thinking ignites your heart everytime.

• It's quiet for sure, but honestly?

• You wouldn't trade it for the world.

Tracy has said that Sophie Rickaby was a lot like Rocky, and she also said that she spent most of her adult life in sanatoriums (which are quarantined hospitals for people who have tuberculosis.) I wonder if her health problems started when she was a little girl. Sophie may have been idealistic, intelligent, goofy, and impulsive like Rocky, and she may have been often sick and couldn’t get into the kind of trouble that Rocky could. Or maybe she was a very healthy kid and she could have absolutely dislocated her arms in a homemade flying machine accident, who knows? But I like the idea of Nina having to contend with a boy version of her little sister, only this child has healthy lungs and can run faster than her, and can actually unleash the kind of tomfoolery that Sophie only daydreamed about.

Blind Reader x Marigold! - Mordecai - Nicodeme - Seraphine Headcanons

Mordecai

At first when he was informed of the fact that he was going to work with a blind person who was just hired, he really didnt even believe it. He thought he was being messed around with, that was until he saw you enter. You both introduced yourselves but he really didnt feel like you should be working for Marigold, not at all.

On the first simple missions when you two had to work, he really didnt even mind you, even though from time to time he would take your arm and guide you to wherever you two were going, not happy at all.

He would wonder again, why was it that you were hired if you lacked sight. What would you do? You cant shoot or fight, not even drive or even move correctly by yourself. Even though he wasnt entirely sure of your cooperation, he would listen to whatever you had to say to him, he thought that Asa really saw something on you if you were there in the first place.

Time passed and he started understanding, even though you werent capable of most things, you were really great to have around, you had this peaceful presence and a lot of conversation material. Mordecai ended up enjoying that as he could feel relaxed when you were there, knowing that noone else could make him feel that way, he even vented to you when he needed to. At the end, he ended up creating a deep connection with you, to the point of developing feelings.

From that point on, he would always offer you his arm for you to grab so he could guide you around, at first he even doubted himself about those feelings, but he felt safe when you were around, he ended up confessing and, to his luck, you felt the same way about him.

Nicodeme

The day you appeared he just asked about you. "What is that blindfold for?" and then he learned about the meaning of a blind person.

He laughed about having to work with you, he found funny the fact that he needed to be there for you all the time and guide you around. He asked you from time to time, things like "do you really see nothing? Nothing at all?" and just gave you conversation from time to time. He would sometimes check by himself and put his hand in front of your face to see if you really didnt notice it.

After some time he started to create a connection with you, your presence was soothing and entertaining, according to him. He would choose having you around and liked making you laugh, sometimes he would literally forgot about your blindness, he'd throw something for you to catch and as soon as it hit the ground hed notice and be like "oh, yeah".

Finally he slowly and steadily developed romantic interest for you, and when he revealed it, you knew you would be lying if you didnt say you didnt feel the same. Not even once you saw how his face looked like, but his personality was more than enough.

Seraphine

She started laughing when she saw you appear, she thought you were lost and entered the wrong place on accident, little did she know you were actually hired for Marigold. She didnt really agree with that.

She tried testing you, handing you a pistol and asking if you even knew what that was. She knew this was serious bussiness and she thought you were not going to contribute much. Either way she tried to trust Asa's decision and decided to play along.

At first she went on her way and didnt care about leaving you behind. You would just follow her as you heared her footsteps in front of you.

Whenever you tried to talk with her she would reply on a dense and cutting tone, you thought she just wasnt a very talkative person.

The more you talked to her, the more she gradually loosened up with you. You were nice after all and she felt she could tell you more than she thought. She started making conversation with you and became interested, the reason for your blindness and how you manage to live with it.

At one point she saw in you an honest and kind-hearted person. She wasnt sure that was the reason Asa hired you, but now she was willing to work with you.

At first she didnt want to believe it, but she started to feel things when you were by her side, grabbing her arm and so. She assumed that you were just meant to and that's what she clung to. It didn't take long for her to realize that you had been feeling something similar for her for a long time. She laughed as she realized that this has all made sense from the beginning… now, could you be interested in joining the cult, perhaps?

Mordecai Heller GN dating Headcanons

Note(s) : Uh, so, I'm kind of going through a sexuality crisis while I write this, so the romance aspect is sort of lost, I'm sorry.

I think he'd most appreciate somebody who won't dance around subjects, he can't read emotions well and so people being coy just doesn't make any sense to him, he prefers somebody that's straightforward.

Mordecai is fairly demanding, but he doesn't mean it to be a dick, he just has preferences and won't be with you if you aren't them. He doesn't expect you to bend over backwards and only do things he likes, so he won't bend over backwards only doing things you like.

He'd frankly prefer you to have a style that's symmetrical and clothing that's clean and proper, if you can't afford that or have an unsymmetrical face or body, he tends to stare a lot and be more snarky towards you. Mordecai won't end the relationship over that, it just bothers him a little.

But he's more than willing to pay for symmetrical clothes, or just steal the clothes off of a corpse for you.

He wants to teach you how to use a gun, just so you can defend yourself in emergencies. Mordecai always keeps a gun hidden by your bedside table, just in case of a break in.

That is if you aren't already working for Asa / know how to use a gun already, in which case he's slightly less overbearing but will still insist on sharpening your skills a little.

You two may or may not live together, it just depends on what both of you are comfortable with. He definitely doesn't want to share a bed, he'd only want to sleep with you if it's a situation where you need to, or you just fall asleep from exhaustion on the couch or something.

You and him keep your relationship secret in case somebody could use it against you, but somehow, someway, Serafine and Nicodeme find out. Mordecai has no idea how, neither do you, they just... Did.

Serafine and Nicodeme tease you two about your relationship all the time, luckily never in public. Cheesy things like 'aww, you two look so cute together', just to see Mordecai's face drop, he's mortified whenever he sees the siblings and you happen to also be near.

If you two were together when he was working for Lackadaisy, I imagine that he was the one trying to convince you to leave for Marigold. Your relationship could end over this if you refuse to leave, and while he'll hesitate in killing you, he won't be afraid to shoot you in the leg if you end up on a mission against each other.

Mordecai doesn't like PDA at all, it makes him feel awkward and uncomfortable, especially in really crowded areas or where people who know him are. If you try to initiate a hug or a kiss he sort of just stands there in complete and utter disgust or begins hissing.

He's not cuddly or lovey dovey when you two are alone, either, he gives you a small kiss on the cheek if it's been a hard mission and you're injured, but it's a little stiff and he clearly only did it to make you feel better.

Mordecai is semi okay with hugging, it just depends on when and where, if you two are alone? Here, a quick side hug. If you're in a crowd? Don't even touch him he will probably transform into a ficus.

Surprisingly he's an alright dancer, just only when he's alone, and maybe if he's alone with you he can dance with you. He can appreciate the symmetry and beautiful hard work that goes into more classical dances, like ballroom dancing or ballet, but he despises the free form moves of things like Jazz, it's too liquid and unpredictable for him.

Mordecai likes technology, that much is clear.

He'd end up setting up a technology review YouTube channel (with Viktor as an unwilling cameraman) as per Ivy's suggestion.

He tries his best to make a serious and coherent review, but Mordecai is naturally so dramatic that he ends up just being very comical, especially when he ends up not liking some equipment, and he just starts tearing it apart with words.

What do you mean he's acting for the video? No, that's literally just how he acts.

On another note, Freckle (being the streamer that he is) gets sponsored by tech companies and being sent equipment that he ends up not using, so he just gives it to Mordecai so he can review it on his channel. The opposite may also happen, with Mordecai being gifted something he does not particularly enjoy and giving it to Freckle, so he may use it on his streams.

Seeing as this back and forth continues to happen, Ivy gets the idea to have them edit their videos and stream cuts so that they literally throw the equipment boxes at each other.

Freckle gets very soft throws, seeing as Ivy throws it to him during stream, but Mordecai, having Viktor as the one throwing, doesn't get the same privilege.

Boxes are thrown on him so hard that entire compilations are made of him being knocked down by them multiple times. It's not uncommon to see him limping during a video because a box was thrown at his leg.

The Savoys watch these compilations on loop. It's just so funny to them!

Since people end up getting preoccupied that Viktor is going a little too far, Viktor, being tired of receiving notifications of people asking if their relationship is healthy, let's Mordecai throw a box at him once. He doesn't feel a thing, but after saying the most nonchalant and monotonous "ouch" ever, people would realize that it's, in fact, okay.

Mordecai's comedic timing is so perfect that a bunch of gifs of him being disappointed would be made. They would become emojis on Freckle's streams.

Yall know how Mordecai has the sound of a clock ticking to indicate his structural and posed aim?

Would LOVE if we had Freckles ‘ticking’ be his heart beat to be a metaphor on how Mordecai’s killing is all tactical, while Freckle’s is all emotional, yet they both still have deadly aim.
