LADS x Bittybones?
This might be a little bit of a stretch (stretch, get it?) but in this au we could go with them being smaller versions of our boys. Perhaps Infold is the mama cry of this universe, sucking our wallets and our souls.
(For those who dont know bittybones, which is an undertale au mostly featuring the skele brothers, it's them but small chibi companions ranging from the size of your hand to a big cat. )
The boys still have their evols, however extremely weakened.
Xavier- A classic first owner pick, he's a 'low' maintenance and sleepy boy, because of his popularity Infold decided to release more lines after seeing the popularity.
(His evol acts more like a nightlight than anything.)
His kit comes with a specialized pillow, small sword (that isn't sharp), a few outfits (the rest have to be bought individually),and a mask.
However after the boom, it was found that some nefarious crime rings were pitting Xavier's (or Sleepy's if you rlly dont want the headache of saying xavier's) and activated the 'Lumiere' protocol which was originally supposed to be a security measure to protect their companion (ain't no way are we called Owner or master, not this no.) when media found out, and people began to pay more attention to bitties, Infold doubled down and began marketing the 'Lumiere mode' (much to many sleepy's distaste)
But one thing is, do not under any circumstances get another companion besides xavier, or else you'll end up in a warzone of false friendliness and fights every night. If you have a partner please be sure to informed the sleepy (Infold corp. is not liable for any actions sleepy takes against your partner.)
Zayne- One of the early health lines, a zayne or snowy's as their collectively called are much bigger than sleepy's by a few inches. Adopting one is no easy task, considering how zayne in game always worries about mc the smaller version of him is much more worried and open abou it and needs a full disclosed medical history of their companion before they'd go with them, so they can always provide or help their companion.
He comes equipped with a pair of reading glasses, a snowglobe and a small version of a cellphone.
It's no secret all snowy's are sweet tooths (although they do dislike candies shaped into carrots) so most owners are given a small safe to keep any sweets away.
Snowy's can use their evols to make ice for bruises (although small it's the thought that matters.) and to cool warm drinks. And if the snowy is particularly skilled can shape their ice to make things for their companion.
They don't mind if you have other companions or adopt others, however...its not advised to get a Sunnie and pair it with snowy. It will result in chaos.
Rafayel- Artsy's are a high class type, costing upwards of 300 dollars and more due to their expensive hobby, that can range from painting and stationaries to collecting. He's a companion who only more experienced or those more blunt people should really have
He comes with many items, an art set with all sorts of colors and canvases, 3 sets of clothes, and a red fish plushie named anything from reddie to scarlett (artsy's are very particular in naming said plushie to differentiate from the other artsy's. Newly made ones will try to find the most obscure name of red. They will get in fights if others steal or name their fishie the same thing.)
They make it clear they don't want their companion to get any of the others, but in rare cases do get along with sleepy's to play against the others.
Sylus- Fiend's (they named themselves that, Infold corp. did not name their group that it was just something they collectively called themselves.) are for those more adventurous (and by that we mean parkour and hiking Infold corp. does not take responsibility if your fiend gets bored and runs away.) they enjoy the fine things of life and are the 2nd most expensive companion. They like to hoard things so it's advised you give them a safe place or spare room as theirs.
Fiend's come with a brooch, crow doll, and depending on the owner, a pair of 2 other companions (Luke and Kieran) or a doll version of them. The clothes fiend's come with are the standard sleeping, casual, and formal, but they do choose one outfit to bring along.
They don't mind other companions, aslong as they themselves feel it's exciting and have their own space.
But if they deem their companion to be lacking or boring they will make it clear, and if the companion doesn't do anything after their clear intent, will run away and return in a few days with either a crow or any bird (Fiend's even if they do not run away will somehow end up taming a bird to ride and fly around.) Normally it's best to go on vacation and have fun if they bring it up.
Caleb- Sunnies, affectionately called that by their companions, were originally called Grumpies due to the original purpose to be a stern no nonsense companion to help people stick to their goals But that idea was scrapped after seeing how clingy and protective Sunnies were. The perfect pal, was what the marketing team's slogan was. Your sunnie pal who'll be there every step of the way.
They come with clothes, an apple (depending on the sunnie it could be a plushie, an actual apple sized down, or a fake one), and a dogtag that the sunnies will customized to have their forever companions name on.
Sunnies can be anything their companion wants, they try to mirror their companion or make up for any shortcomings of their companion. If their companion is shy, the sunnie is more reserved and confident. If their companion can't cook for crap, the sunnies will become the best chef specializing only in their companions favorites (Aslong as it's healthy, and if not will only be an occasional dish)
Sunnies are the biggest, the size of a house cat and their evol helps them pick up 1-4 objects at a time, more skilled sunnies are able to use it on animals to catch or kill any insects for their companion.
They don't mind other companions, but they have a 'playful' side to snowy's (more like tormenting) and will make dishes of only carrots and zero sugar meals for snowy's.
Sorry for this extremely strange idea but honestly if the technology could and infold was money hungrier, we will see mini lads that we'd spend thousands on clothes for.
