Kinda fhh spoilers but not really (this didn't happen and I was hoping it would but sadly here we are)

We never got to rub in Lord & Lady Cai's face that their daughter was still alive :(((

At the end of OVE, Lord Cai says something along the lines of

"You can either return to your rightful position as Scarlet heir and forget about this love nonsense or you can die just as the White Flowers will."

And he probably thinks he was right about her dying because she chose her love over her life

When really Juliette is still alive and she managed to chose her love and leave that stressful and rather forced position that wouldn't have been a good spot to take on anyway (too much power concentrated in one place is never going to work- plus the gangs were about to be eradicated anyway so it didn't matter much.)

But like I was hoping that in like a decade or something after that happened she would see her parents again, mostly so she can like be like "Bitch I fucking lived and you didn't think I would. Ameteurs."

Just in a nicer way idk

Sad this didn't happen though cause I still have a problem with Lord Cai especially :(((((((

I don’t say this enough but @evansrp is the best partner. We write so many fun threads and she’s an awesome storyteller. Even now we’re in the middle of a story, that was inspired by an IT meme, and I’m loving it so much!

The Dorombo Trio as they appeared in mobage title “Sangokushi Battle” for a promotional crossover event.  As ever, it’s a freemium card based battle game for smartphones- this one is based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. 

The trio isn’t just dressed period appropriate, though!  Each is dressed as if to be a particular character with ties to ruler of the Jing Province, Liu Biao.  Doronjo is Lady Cai, Liu Biao’s second wife. Boyacky and Tonzler are Zhang Yan and Cai Mao respectively- warlords who served under Liu Biao.

Fittingly for such a tight knit trio, the three historical figures they evoke are family!  Cai Mao was the brother of Lady Cai, and Zhang Yun was Cai Mao’s nephew.

There was a stillness in the air and Stevie felt the hairs stand on the back of his neck, a foreign sensation but one which he immediately associated with danger. The stroll they went on, pleasant and full of good stories and laughter, petered to a stop. His arm remained around Sierra’s shoulders, sudden protectiveness overcame him, and he turned slowly. Stevie guided Sierra behind him as the man they saw at the start of their walk stood a short ways from them, holding a couple of partially deflated balloons. They sagged, the helium practically gone by this point.

“Don’t you want a balloon?” croaked the man and Stevie backed from him slowly.

His blue eyes remained on him, wary of the stranger’s next move. “Sierra,” he whispered, turning his head just enough so his cheek brushed against the tip of her nose. “Take my hand and don’t let go. We’re getting as far from him as possible.” Even while he spoke his hand slipped down and sought hers out.

The man continued to leer at them, dirty fingers fumbled with the balloons to make them buoyant. Desirable. “It’ll only cost you a nickel. Maybe a lock of her beautiful blonde hair…” His tongue passed across his chapped lips and Stevie snapped out of the temporary hypnotic stare he’d fallen into, realizing the man was close.

Too close.

“Now!”

And I’m on a little gushing spree (I’m in a sappy mood) but, as always, @evansrp has been giving me so many feels since last night. Ugh. I love our Stierra so much. In our new lil AU and in Cav. They are one of my favorite ships to write out. Thank you so much for introducing me to Sierra! :D
