I was pretty annoyed when Washington traded their picks for really suspect players in the offseason. I don't know what any of the new acquisitions can do. The Washington Mystics have completely overhauled their team. You know of the 2010-2011 class, only 3 players have been signed back? ONLY THREE.

I'm perfectly okay with our first pick, Natalie Novosel. That being said, I am furious about the Maryland class's options. Lynetta Kizer deserved a second round pick, and she was projected for Minnesota, which I was really pissed about because I think the Mystics needed an inside player, and she is a GREAT ONE. I would've loved it if we could've drafted her, and it sucks knowing we had the opportunity to and didn't.

I mean, nothing pissed me off more than the Mystics drafting Anjale Barrett. For one, I didn't even know that cunt was even IN the draft class this year. Nowhere have I seen her name on a list or anything. She played horribly at the key as a point guard for Maryland this year, and I spent most of the women's season yelling for Brene Moseley, Maryland's other guard, because she's FAR superior in terms of ball handling and oh yeah SHE CAN ACTUALLY MAKE HER SHOTS.

I don't even know who we could trade for Anjale. That's the problem. Like if she were drafted for trade purposes, who would even fucking want her? I just--ugh. Like I'm glad the Mystics have a permanent Maryland-Magnet on their drafting choices (in the last ten years, most of their roster has comprised of women from Maryland or Duke, but neither had PARTICULARLY strong pickings this year, and very few of the star players were even seniors this year), but of the two, did we really have to pick her? REALLY?

That Reminds Me

I've been folding pages in Mockingjay to post on tumblr, but I never get around to it since I read mostly on the train now. I cant make any posts with gifs right now since I'm on my phone, and I'm too lazy to type out passages, so I'm just gonna do it when I get back.

Also, the season finale of Pretty Little Liars is on tonight and I am freaking out because I wont be able to watch it until 10 since I'm going to the Maryland game tonight.

Its a worthy sacrifice, but one nonetheless. I'm going to avoid Tumblr so I dont see any A spoilers until I make my gif post. Mmmm

Apparently I Am The Cutest Drunk Person Ever

I had turned off my laptop and specifically put it in a place where I either wouldn't see or wouldn't touch it because my intention last night was to get BLASTED. At which I did, very quickly, because I never got the chance to have dinner BECAUSE I AM A GENIUS.

I'm really grateful to all of the people who took care of me yesterday. I usually can't walk when I'm drunk so I REALLY shouldn't have worn my desert booties (because heels and that hill do not match. How did I get back here?).
