This technically counts towards my MEST major... The class has a different focus depending on the semester and professor, I think? The research area of the guy who’s teaching it is Mesoamerica - which is super fascinating don’t get me wrong, but not very applicable to what I’m specifically studying.

It’s just like... I have 10 pages worth of stuff to turn in on Friday/Saturday morning and I’m trying to figure out how to write a personal statement/resume/cover letter without knowing WHAT I’m actually applying for AND I have to get a police background check or “letter of conduct” AND my school has to sign the forms and scan them back in AND I have to get my professor to write me a letter of recommendation because I need 2 for some reason and I’M GOING CRAZY

It's so worth it! But I agree.
It’s a hassle especially because my school has no study abroad coordinator, so I don’t know what forms I have to get signed and by whom? Like, the provost is handling it and neither she nor her assistant really know what they’re doing?
My admissions counselor is super nice, but I have to get everything in by the 13th, which is upsetting because I have midterm recess for the first half of next week and my application is due next Thursday.
