Sleipnir fidgeted, swallowing the developing lump in his throat as the song finally finished. He cleared his throat before shrugging. “...yeah it’s...it’s a nice song.” He blinked, head tipped aside away from the other.

A simple comment that meant he could certainly see her for who she was, but he wasn’t about to give away the secret. He had his own secrets to keep, after all. But even so...

Vision stood nearby, setting hands behind his back as he kept an eye on the scenery, having come out for a fairly private walk through the city - and a moderately subtle patrol of the area as well.

While I won’t ever rp the finer details out when it comes to exactly what happened in the weeks that Loki was on Sakaar without Thor, I have some pretty strong opinions that are based on context clues.  I’m also not trying to start an argument with people that ship Loki with the Grandmaster, but here’s what it amounts to;

Canonly, the Grandmaster used Loki as an indentured servant.  The only ship code that Loki knew was the one that was used for a ‘pleasure vessel’.  The moment that Loki saw that Thor was alive and there, his first suggestion was to sneakily kill the Grandmaster and escape the planet.

Loki was not in love with the Grandmaster, that’s simply fact.

As to the times that Loki can be seen slightly more relaxed, it’s when he’s literally ten feet apart from the GM on the couch or when he’s nowhere near him, socializing with the other inhabitants of the hellscape that Sakaar really is.  The only way that Loki fairs better than with, let’s say Thanos, is told in a single line...

He's a lunatic, but he can be amenable.

Thanos couldn’t be reasoned with at all, but at no point was Loki really HAPPY on Sakaar.

“Look, you don’t know me, and I don’t know you, personally, but I’m gonna have to make myself really clear on this one.” Because he’d be an absolute fool to trust Loki. He’d listened to the man all of once, and it’d gotten him into a world of trouble. Not something he really wanted to repeat, if he could help it, regardless of what universe he was in. It was just a universal truth that Loki was shifty, and that’s not changing anytime soon.

“You stay away from me, or I will empty this into your head, and I know that probably won’t kill you, but it’ll sure as hell sting to be shot in the eye.”

Someone had suggested to the prince to take up a hobby. They had meant a political one, and something that was meant to remain on Jotunheim of course. This didn’t mean that Loki had actually listened though. The prince had instead decided to see what Midgard had to offer in the way of amusement. He was a bit overwhelmed whenever he had started his research and finally had settled on something as simple as pottery. The Jotun was nimble with his hands in other regards, so this should be a cakewalk for him. The currency was pulled out of thin air to pay in advance for a few classes, and he was set. The date and time was given to him for a week later. 

The week passed too slowly for the prince, but eventually, the time had come. A hop and a skip and he was selecting a seat. His desire to be early had given him free rein of the classroom. A seat near the end; he didn’t want to deal with many Midgardians. The class set up was a giant semi-circle with a chair in the middle so that people could learn as they worked. He had opted for less than stellar clothing, as advised, and just idly was watching as people started to trickle into the classroom. Green eyes made judgments as people arrived, already making bets who was going to cause a giant issue first.
