honestly you guys have no idea how much messages like this mean to me!

in my opinion, there’s so much depth to susan’s character and story line compared to the rest which is why i tend to focus more on susan than other characters. whether it’s a story of finding faith or moving from it completely or even finding a new one, the possibilities for susan are endless.

that’s part of the problem for me with the seven friends of narnia. digory and polly’s story’s were complete and full. they lived their lives to old ages...but peter, edmund, lucy, eustace, and jill didn’t. i’m tired of pretending like what happened to them was good just because they ended up in the Real Narnia. i’m tired of pretending like those five lives, that still had SO MUCH to do and give on earth, were gone before they even got to start in any way is alright. i’m tried of pretending that lives that were stolen before they even got to make earth better, like they had for narnia, is good.

it was definitely a hard angle to explore because of how much peter saying susan isn’t a friend of narnia anymore hurt. something about that line always made me so angry and upset because there’s a weight to the High King’s words and for him to dismiss her because she chose a different path was just painful. which is why the writing in that piece had more of a bitter tinge to it because i’m bitter and angry as hell over susan’s dismissal.
