I honestly only drew her because my other art friends were drawing other Destiny weapons as girls (not necessarily “sexy anime girl” like mine). 

And, to be honest, I have been kicking around the idea of making some drawings of Destiny weapons as Girl’s Frontline characters (It’s a mobile gacha game that basically personifies real weapons, like M16, M4A1, etc as anime girls. Very fun game actually; F2P friendly for the most part)

How do you come up with ideas for your creatures? I've been wanting to design creatures for a fictional world, but I have a hard time making creatures that look biologically functional.

Ideas emerge when knowledge of the (biological) world and imagination mix. In order to make a fictional (Earthly) creature believable, it needs to be designed with our Earthly biology in mind. All life obeys basic laws, but it also bends the rules in order to survive in different environments. A creature in a fictional world needs to be adapted to its unique environment. It’s necessary to first set the parameters of that environment, and then derive traits beneficial for survival and proliferation. A creature evolves in response to its environment. The world is there first, but with enough time, life will begin to alter the shape of the world.

If you’re having trouble with coming up with ideas and making the ideas you have look good, you’re lacking knowledge and training in that field. For example, if you wish to design flying creatures, surround yourself with the principles of flight on Earth: How does lift work, how did birds evolve, how do aircraft steer, and where do the “construction plans” of birds and aircraft intersect? Where are the similarities, and how could you mix up details to make something new? Leg wings instead of arm wings? Which kind of environment would encourage this configuration? It’s obvious that these questions lead to even more questions to research and think about. The more you learn, the better your ideas, the more curious you become, the more you ask, the more you learn. :)

Concept: Ricks getting into public fights with eachother in the Citadel, and other Ricks rushing to get in on the action before guards get the chance to stop them "R-R-Ricks fighting?! I can sell *UURP* this!!"

A Year Later: The Citadel is in ruins because of C-137. The only public fight we got to see from the show thus far is Rick’s fighting for their life against Galactic Fed Prisoners and that time when Rick was trying to escape in Rick Counters. Does C-137 shooting the council count?

If only, if only. Then again Pocket Ricks? Hmmm?!

I never continued watching RvB, or RWBY. But Camp Camp I can get behind. It isn't moving as quickly as RvB or RWBY, plus it's got good character design and is overall really fun and cute and not so much story-heavy as of yet. Lovin' it
