"I    know.    But    I    do    love    watching    you    ask    for    it."    And    he    does    love    everything    about    her.    He    might    rule    the    Rock    but    in    here,    how    he    craves    this    woman    seems    almost    impossible    for    someone    to    have    such    sway    over    him.    In    their    bed    and    in    minds,    they    are    equals,    but    sometimes,    he    enjoys    taking    his    time    as    he    takes    her,    wrapping    one    of    her    legs    around    his    middle,    rising    it    enough    to    let    it    hang    steady    there    as    his    hips    push    in    and    thrust    inside.   

The    pacing    is    torture    for    both    of    them,    he    is    sure    but    he    enjoys    the    look    on    her    face,    gold    against    red    sheets    as    he    begins    to    move,    his    hand    grasping    her    hair    and    pulling    her    upward,    pressing    a    kiss    to    her    lips.    "I    want    you    to    bed    me    for    it,    Jo.    And    that    everyone    in    the    Rock    knows."    They    already    do    though,    when    together,    neither    is    shy    about    how    they    feel    and    if    he    could,    he    would    put    child    after    child    in    her    belly    for    how    much    he    enjoys    being    inside    her.

"how   can   I   ever   meet   such   a   man   when   every   man   I   meet   must   be   approved   first?"   none   of   the   suitors   she   knows   of   are   worthy   of   being   called   such   a   thing   in   her   mind.   the   more   she   grew,   the   more   she   understood   the   place   a   princess   like   her   has   in   life,   and   the   more   control   her   mother   has   in   court,   the   less   myrcella   has   in   her   life.   "mother   confides   me   to   the   keep   at   all   times   and   i'm   stopped   from   returning   to   dorne."   is   the   betrothal   with   prince   trystane   off?   has   she   been   sorted   out   without   much   of   a   goodbye   for   some   ill   reason?   the   princess   sits   beside   her   grandmother,   looking   over.

  "a   long   time   ago   i   thought   that   man   would   be   robb   stark.   instead   father   engaged   joffrey   to   sansa   stark   and   all   of   this   trouble   happened."   if   only   it   had   been   her   in the   north.   would   she   had   been   a   captive   like   sansa   was   in   the   keep?   she   doubts   it   greatly.   "love   in   a   marriage   is   a   shooting   star.   i'll   be   glad   to   have   a   marriage   with   a   man   who   won't   treat   me   like   father   did   to   mother."

There   is   a   quiet   frustration   in   the   Lion   Lord   as   he   looks   over   at   his   reflection.   Lately,   it   seems   all   of   their   children   have   found   a   different   way   to   get   on   his   nerves.   As   long   as   he   lives   and   he   is   their   father,   he   will   make   the   decisions   in   the   household,   nasty   rumors   to   be   put   down   to   shame   once   and   for   all.   "None   of   them   truly   understood   how   this   works.   Fools,   the   lot   of   them.   Jaime   understands   it   and   has   no   interest   in   it.   There   is   still   hope   there,   if   I   can   get   to   him   in   time."   Cersei   was   a   lost   cause.

  She   is   bright   and   smart,   but   impulsive   and   too   twisted,   and   her   influence   in   Tommen   can   be   seen   from   a   mile   away.   His   marriage   to   Margaery   Tyrell   remain   the   best   political   move   and   she   was   there,   sulking   over   like   a   child.   Eyes   fall   down   to   the   hands   that   are   fixing   his   jacket   over,   relaxing,   ever   so   slightly   under   the   familiar   comfort.   "They   seem   to   think   they   have   a   choice   here,   my   dear."

Tyrion tossed and turned on the small futon they had given him in his new quarters, the fever of infection having taken root sometime in the night. Between his breaks of consciousness, the sound of steel against steel filled his head and all around him the burnt, broken bodies of men surrounded him, their hands outstretched as if to beg for his help. The further he pushed them away, the closer they came, until they surrounded him in such numbers that they became almost monotonous. Features blended together to create one terrible wave of horror that he could not escape from.

When he finally had the strength to pull himself from his nightmares, he thought he caught a glimpse of a golden glow at his bedside. It was a familiar sight, one he had thought he'd seen many times as a child. Briefly he thought perhaps it might be his mother, but she would not come here. Not for him. Perhaps it was his sister there to torment him, but he doubted she would make the trip to his quarters either.

Would that I were Jaime, he thought. Then they would both be here by his side. Would they mourn for my face? Would they weep to see me suffering so? I doubt it.

Yet he was not Jaime. His time on the battlefield had made that abundantly clear. He rolled over, trying to block out the halo of light shining at his feet. What once was a comfort now burned to look at.

"Pod! The curtains. Close the curtains."

  "Not   even   grandfather   would   fight   against   dragons.   What   do   we   have   against   them?   Lions   at   the   Rock?   Perhaps   the   Stark's   direwolves   but   they   will   never   protect   us."   No.   And   Doran   would   align   himself   with   the   dragons   despite   what   Rhaegar   did   to   her   sister.   "Negociations   is   not   being   intimidated.   It's   being   wise."

"My   brother   has   grown   tired   of   waiting   and   truth   to   be   told,   my   nephew   is   a   boy   in   love,   that   is   perhaps   the   most   dangerous   thing.   He   wants   to   be   with   her   and   we   want   to   keep   this   as   civil   as   possible."   Gods   forbid   he   already   knows   Trystane   had   been   pushing   the   limits   with   his   princess   of   what   a   hot   make   out   means   and   kisses   and   touches.   So   best   to   wed   them.   It   would   not   be   a   scandal   in   Dorne   but   if   news   arrive   here,   no   one   would   be   pleased.   "Myrcella   is   taken   care   of.   The   sun   of   Dorne   agrees   with   her.   Perhaps   you   should   join   the   wedding   celebrations   when   they   come." @ladyruled
