We met earlier this year @aaf_lagos where we both participated in a magical open mic evening. Afterwards we decided to collaborate in some way or another. . THE COLLAB: Around August this year I composed a musical piece on the theme of beginnings & endings in Lagos. For the lyrics we decided to alternate between Afrikaans & Yoruba. We then took a series of experimental photos with the talented Lagosian photographer @jide_yeni that we're releasing soon... The piece is done in a spoken word style for the recording. I'm checking in @olakobak's otherwordly studio this weekend to record the track! 🌠 . On 25 November @dunkelder_teater, Gemini will be collaborating with me 'off stage' ....we're going to share fragments of the piece with the audience in an alternative manner.
