At 11:05 in the morning Ludwig walked out of church squinting in the daylight. He sent a message to Francis that he was available and waited patiently for the response. If he had enough time he would return home to change from his Sunday best but only if it didn't keep the older nation waiting.

They had talked about going on a hike but still Ludwig was surprised that Francis actually agreed now that the time had come. Granted the French nation was late but he'd forgive that considering the distance he needed to travel. It wasn't often that people agreed to go into the forests with him anymore, they had gone too long within city limits to feel comfortable elsewhere.
His patience wouldn't be limitless though so hopefully Francis would arrive within the next quarter of an hour.
