Please keep the folks in Hawaii in your thoughts. It's been a rough few days here in Maui, and especially here where my parents live in Lahaina. Power is finally back on this morning, and we were able to see first hand some of the damage that was done here by the wind and flames. This trip hasn't been what I expected on any level, but it's taught me a lesson in humility and humanity. I like to say that you can't control what the universe throws at you, but you can control how you react to it. It'd be easy to whine and complain about my Ultra being cancelled and my vacation being affected, but I can see that many folks here have it much worse than me. I get to go home at the end of it all.
